how true was this inspirational leader was. today we see all the Arab states including Saudi Arabia, Libya, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan being Muslim states but being governed by the teachings of cross!

I'm probably going to get slammed for this, but so be it. I think it needs to be said.

While the man was obviously an outstanding leader, are his views accurate representations of the world today?

At the time of the crusades, the conflict was genuinely divided along religious lines. Us vs. Them. Christianity vs. Islam. Is that true today? No. I know many people believe it is, and it is a popular notion to think this way, but it's not accurate. And in fact, it is dangerous and unproductive, and is likely to promote more warfare rather than less.

In some parts of the world, the call has gone out for "Jihad. Time for all true Muslims to wage war against the invader infidel." In the West, it is "time to wage war against terrorists who export violence and kill our citizens."

It's NOT a religious war. Never has been.

So by all means honor a brilliant military leader, but his political views are 800 years out of date.

1400 years ago Umar bin Khitab introduced some rules which are still applicable today.
war Technics by Khalid Bin Waleed are still followed by Armies.
and same applies to Sallahudins views. they are not out dated. the war is changed in 4th gen war now. US and Nato are not killing people on the name of religion but they are killing the people of only one religion. Muslims.
some where mistakenly said that Crusade has begin.
now its time of the covert wars. its not like it was 800 or 1400 years or before. but the mind and the hate against the religion is the same which was 1400 years ago.

I Think you are wrong on so many levels ,... just open your eyes and tell me which islamic country is left without wars ... you need to open your heart and see things , everyone is not terrorist , if someone is not on your side then still they are not terrorist , your country need to learn to live with others as well and stop these wars

all this create instability in the country and the Muslim world,ld is suffering a lot.

what is even worst is that they are doing it in such a fashion that Muslims consider them there well wishers. this was there technique back in the crusaders time and that what they are doing now.
if Muslims do not wake up will now the situation will get even worst!
