Indian Muslims make small percent of the population of India. Out of those there are many who are an important part of the Indian community. Whether they are NRIs or in the Indian army, police or government services, or business men they are all trying to make a better life for themselves. If for every million people you find some people who are totally different then that does not mean there are major problems. Many Indian girls study in the same Universities and colleges.

I have been fortunate to have many such muslims as friends.

Yet even amongst the enlightened, I found the conversion and name change thing I told you about.

A guy divorcing his wife of 20+ years, and she is literally on the streets today, locked out of their house, of all joint accounts, everything. Not allowed to meet her kids even.

Yes we can only marry Muslims and the girl should know that in advance. The thing you do not get is there are many more hindu girls and the chances of muslim guys falling in love with them in college etc is much more.

Divorce happens everywhere. But in no other faith, is a woman at such a stark disadvantage, and shorn of all rights, as in muslims.

This should be made the law in India. Muslim men marrying non Muslim girls should be prohibited. The non Muslim girl must convert by law before marriage to be considered eligible. If we can have a Muslim Law here, sure we can accommodate this one too. This won't apply to Non Muslim guys marrying Muslim girls. That should be encouraged on the other hand.

I am very serious. Tara Shadev got so much publicity because she was a national shooter. Thousands of girls don't dare to complain once they are in bed with a Muslim man. The guy in question who was 'Rajeev' before marriage and suddenly a Muslim after - had 50+ SIM cards, direct relation with the local Muslim MLA and liquid cash running into lakhs - without having a real documented source of income. This racket exists.

Then there is another racket that exists in Bengal that lures Bengali Hindu girls to have affairs. If they refuse marriage their videos are leaked online. They have even created a website for that. A place on the web where they proudly boast such behavior.

In any case, I believe Hindus number 40% in India.

Muslim men marrying non Muslim girls should be prohibited. The non Muslim girl must convert by law before marriage to be considered eligible.

actually an easier way would be to ask the girl if she knows during the wedding. Making laws leads to many misuses and hurdles.
And just to be clear what you are doing now is making sure that the Muslims are not part of India. You are seeing the slow increase of Muslim population as a threat yet you consider them equal Indians??

I am very honest in this regard. I see Muslims as equal Indians. But once they are in majority, we will not be Indians. I know that.

There's a post in Firstpost that throws light on the matter. Hindus are not the simple majority in India. This time BJP won because some 40% of Hindus and Sikhs and Buddhists voted as a consolidated block and the rest were divided among several parties. I don't have very high hopes of this country existing as a non Muslim country for long either.

Given a choice, 60% of Hindus will give up their country without a fight. On the other hand 50% Muslims will love an Islamic India, 10% will fight for it, 20% will not mind it and the rest will object to it.

first of all atheists if they are not Hindu they are in no way Muslim either. And would prefer the relaxed way they live in now. you are saying out a population of one billion there are only 400 million hindus???

there were the mughals also?? remember that stage? there is a proper society which is functioning and now what is happening will break it apart... if you come on public Tv n say what has been said by leaders of a ruling party there will be no feeling of unity left.
