There's a reason Pakistan is worried and negotiating. Merely saying 'no' will not help.
“International institutions, through high-level backdoor contacts, have agreed to waive off the penalty. This is very good news for Pakistan,” said Awan while addressing the media on Friday.
No No its because Imran Khan is a yahoodi agent installed bu Israel and USA for India.Lot of people on this forum ridiculed Imran Khan for his honesty, why he had to be so blunt about Pakistan's economic situation in front of the world.
Now the fruits of that truthfulness are showing - it's because he explained the reality, that these companies had to settle .
Anything built going forward on this genuine base will be stronger than ever.
Jalli pe burnol lagaoHow can international institutions waive off Karkey's dues.
Jalli pe burnol lagao
It would be wise to wait for an actual settlement before celebrations.
No one will waive it off. But will agree to a settlement. Its gone through the courts and the award has been calculated and awarded by the international court recognised by both parties, Pakistanis are being fed lies being asked to believe mere words that a company that has won the case is going to let go of $1.2 billion. Just like that. Out of kindness. Its laughable the IK propaganda the Awam buys in Pakistan

How can international institutions waive off Karkey's dues.
Hope the Op will be helpful>
Tethyan Copper Company (TCC) was approached by a financial team empowered by Prime Minister Imran Khan to negotiate an out of court settlement on the $ 6 billion penalty imposed by The International Center of Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Reportedly, the company has agreed to waive off the penalty if it is given a chance to invest in Reko Dik extraction project again (even on the new terms of the contract).
TCC is negotiating from a position of massive strength. It is answerable to the shareholders of Barrick Gold and Antofagasta. There will be a deal because Pakistan cannot afford there not to be a deal. But the deal will be loaded in favour of TCC because anything less will mean that the deal negotiators will be losing their jobs.
I thought Reko Diq and Karkey were two different threads. Did they get merged.
