1- Quran has ample verses on prayers infact it's one of most common verse. Islam was step wise religion and was completed over 23 years ..if you see contra dictions that because you don't want to see whole picture..by that definition you will start thinking drinking is fine or fighting to protect your self is wrong since both were this way during Makkah eraNothing has divided Muslims more than "how to pray". This ritual was supposed to be symbolic display of submission and unity but it turned out to be source of differences and disunity, primarily because everyone has a hadees to prove their way is correct way.
If you go into details of when and how it became mandatory, the whole story is full of flaws and contradictions. Nobody can say it with 100% surety that their way is the correct way.
Just for an example, all the messengers, prophets and messenger prophets (peace be upon all of them) must have prayed, otherwise there cannot be a congregational prayer led by Muhammad Peace be upon him right before Miraj journey. So what were those messengers and prophets reading in their prayers?
What did Muhammad Peace be upon him used to do in ghar e soor? If he was praying then how did he pray and what did he read at that time?
Zoroastrians have 5 times prayers and they clean themselves like us before that.
Traditions at the best are history telling and nothing more. History is not always true as to what happened and how it happened.
Quran was in form of written compiled book from the start, but the history tells you that it was gathered and compiled later .. a blatant lie, just to support the claim that not everything had to be in writing.
2- Quran was compiled within a year of prophet death it couldn't have been compiled before as it wasn't written in a year and wasn't complete untill final yr of prophet life and it wasn't even written in same order as it's now as each verse came at specific historical junction. The order of Quran was established when prophet recited it in this order in his last years.
Muslim history doesn't say it was compiled later. Quoting non local sources is against common sense. If we go that route then they also have other stupid claims like lost parts or it was written later or it was copied from some Christian blah blah
3- Quran consensus recition change happened at Usman era as each Arabs would sometime use their own dialect in pronunciation.. simply to avoid confusion among non Arabs hence why a single way of recitation was adopted..
4- timing of prayers are in Quran so not sure what are you talking about (Quran mention morning day and night three prayers)
5- there isn't a big difference in prayers. Anyone can fight on nitty gritty things but prayers method is probably the least controversial thing in Islam so not sure what you are talking about???
Hence why even shia sunni will pray together in most part of the world with basically the same way
