All land is stolen one way or another in the past, if everyone had to move back to their ancestors point of origin that would create way too much instability around the world considering how much intermingling has been going on. You are holding the son accountable for the sins of the father here, which would be akin to me holding you accountable for the sins of Kublai or Mao.On the trail of the murdered and missing - why have so many of Winnipeg's Aboriginal women and girls been killed?
The difference is you are still living on the stolen land, when would you give back their lands and pack up to leave?
What would you say to mixed race children of first nations people? What would you say to families who have fostered and adopted first nations orphans, myself included?
Your solution to the problem is impractical, divisive and simply not going to happen. The right way forward is the harsh and hard truth and the even harder path of reconciliation.
