Come on Gambit, no player would use any uniform or "piece of cloth" which will hinder his/her view. Have a look at her picture,

Nobody Is Terrfied Of A Girl Going To School But The Self Righteous White Man Is ****** In His Pants Seeing A Girl Cover Her Head With Fabric
Your Pakistan is terrified of a girl -- Malala -- going to school. Do not forget your Pakistan has a %50+ female illiteracy rate. So focus on your own country instead of US.

Let us say that the school allows her to play with her hijab. I have no problems with that.

But the issue I have is that just because we want her to remove the hijab for merely 2 hrs (out of 24), somehow that made the entire country 'bigot'. The referee did not ask because he was a bigot. He may have been wrong, but being wrong does not make him -- or the country -- a bigot.

From your comment, we can assume that you have never engaged in any contact sport?

Aww Boo Hooo Hoo Don't Worry About Our Girls They Are Much Safer In Our Schools Than Any One Would Be In Your Schools

I am against people who stereotype and we do not even know why the referee did what he did and if, like some of the people already pointed out that headscarf (the one in the above picture) cannot be source of trouble for anyone involved in the sports and if it still being asked to be removed makes referee's intention doubtful.

I have been doing MMA for 4 years now, if that counts as a contact sports !

What happened to the various versions of 'our country our rules' when it comes to criticizing Americans overseas?
isn't expelling her for scarf a violation of your country's rules?

And you are not above common sense.

Asking to remove a piece of clothing for just a couple hrs under a very narrow circumstance is not bigotry. It does not matter if it is a muslimah or a Sikh. You may not have noticed because you are too busy being a righteous victim, but the patience of the average Americans have peaked and is now on the decline. The inevitable backlash is coming.

One has as much freedom to ask, as much as the other have freedom to continue with his/her belief. Forcing is against the constitution though.

Backlash from other group is going to be massive. All these crap against American constitution and values is creating a volcano on those who firmly believe in historic American values.

Then you can imagine the potential problems I presented earlier. Basketball players of all ages are advised to wear mouth guards. No one forces them, but parents with common sense and aversion to paying dental bills make their children wear mouth guards. For the protection, physical and legal, of everyone on the court, asking Nasihah Thompson to remove the hijab just for a couple hrs make the country bigoted and Islamophobic. And the criticisms comes from people of a country that discriminate against Christians in far worse manners.
