Why should we expats invest in a country that is led by a bunch of imported crooks, our voting rights get taken away, no thanks this imported government don't deserve to receive a single penny of our hard earned cash.

We cleared ourselves of our Gujranwala assets in Satellite Town, two houses. And farmland located next to Ratta Road and some strip mall centers.
The last piece we have left is Sahiwal, where the family's historical land from the father's side is next to the Army Horse Stable area, then the farmland next to the coal planet once we are done going to use other channels, as @Imran Khan mentioned, to pull the money out of this sinking ship.

I will have one property in DHA Lahore if I come and go.

** The other issue is beside me; the rest of the brothers have no interest whatsoever in Pakistan. For them, it sinks into the Indian Ocean or not doesn't affect them **

People will still send remittances but they may not send through legal system.

Any person who cares about their hard earn money will never invest in a losing business. Individuals and companies won’t invest in Pakistan because of political uncertainty and economic crises.

good luck to them. with the FATF and international banking system keeping a close eye on all these transactions. these people risk finding themselves on the wrong side of the law in overseas and the authorities wont buy the political grief at Pakistan to be a valid reason for that unlawful activity.

the economic downturn across the globe and the time of the year has had its impact. this is not due to the world reacting to PTI not being in the federal government. I never had that delusion of grandeur for the party I voted for thinking it was going to turn the things for us. I dont know why my former friends still live in this fairyland where everything orbits around our captain.

thanks to General Bajwa the PTI formed the government by a hairline majority and seeing the composition of members within PTI and its allies I had mentally put a count down timer when this thing was going to crash and who was going to do it. I was expecting it in Jan 2021 but it lingered on few more months. things are getting worse for Pakistanis abroad or in the country so the downturn of remittances will continue sadly.
but PTI has every right to blame it on PDM, well thats what PDM parties were doing it while they were waiting outside GHQ to get their turn.
