Akhtar Iqbal Dar, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) central media committee, announced the formation of a new party, PTI Nazriati (Ideological) on Wednesday.
LAHORE: Akhtar Iqbal Dar, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) central media committee, announced the formation of a new faction, PTI Nazriati (Ideological) on Wednesday. Dar said that he along with other veteran activists of the party were being ignored by Imran Khan and had been forced to take this decision because of his attitude.
Dar announced the decision at a press conference at Lahore Press Club and was accompanied by Rana Usama, the head of Tehreek-i-Insaf (Awami), and other members of the party.
He said that Pakistanis, particularly the new generation, saw the PTI as a symbol of positive change, but after the rally in Lahore it had been converted into a party of “Makhdooms, Legharis, Waderas, looters, turncoats and timeservers.”
Dar said that the people could not be fooled anymore and added that those quoting examples of Bhutto winning elections even if a party ticket was awarded to a tree would see that this will be false in the case of Imran Khan.
He said that the nation had woken up and was conscious because of a fast growing media.
Leveling serious allegation against Imran Khan, he said that he had become a tool of the land mafia, drug mafia and the Jewish lobby.
Dar said that Khan’s children and properties were abroad and questioned why he would bring a revolution.
Rana Usama said that the real committed activists of the party had been pushed back and announced that conventions will be held from February 20 across the country.

Lol.

:woot:

I knew this was coming. PTI break up? never expected it this early though. Interesting times ahead. :pop:

There comes the sub-continental politics.. British taught us well: "divide & rule"..

I thought PTI was one good hope Pakistan had. I have had very high opinion on Imran's leadership quality.. But then comes along some Dar... Must have gotten good kickback from Zardari & Shareef gang..

Well as far as Dar is concerned; I don't think he is clean either. But actually this will prove that who in PTI is joining party for getting key posts and not for the country...

Actually I just want Imran to get one chance; don't know how it turns out, but as he says his vision is clear so lets give him a chance.

And come on guys, you cannot deny that because of low literacy rate you can never have 2/3rd majority in NA unless you include these landlords in your party. Simply because they have vote banks and they are ELECTABLES.

lol @ Jewish lobby. Akhtar Iqbal Dar was never a core member of the PTI he was one of those who came from the Q League!

As speculated there may be many trojan horses sent to PTI in the tsunami.

Well, one thing is for sure. The tsunami is going to subside before reaching shore because of the actions by people from within the party.

Come March when the Tsunami reaches Quetta the reality of PTI would sink in to its detractors. It is the only strong party in good standing currently among the people of Pakistan. I would put my faith in the democratic norm of trusting the people.

It is good that people like Athar leave earlier rather than later.

He left because he thought he was being ignored by Imran Khan, so he will form a new party.

Which means he is a cry baby, doesn't give a monkey's toss about "Nazriat" (Ideology) and the political struggle, leave alone the love for one's country.

All what this guy wanted to attention.

Well now he's all alone, he can take matters in how own hands and pay much attention to himself as he wants.

Sir jee it's not only one person. There are loads of PTI members threatening to form factions such as Hamid Nasir Chattha and Ghulam Sarwar Cheema.

Well,
That just means there are more bastards then we thought.

Look now ... it doesn't matter PTI, ABC, XYZ ....

What matters is that people like Athar, Chathha, etc exist and are there not for any good reason, they are there only for their PERSONAL GLORY.

These people deserve no place in any public office.

Remember, Players win matches, Teams win Tournament.

Interesting point, IMO, now that they are full members they are pitching against Imran Khan that is they threatening to remove Imran Khan as 'chairman' PTI.
