There is a much simpler politics going on in here. I have heard it being discussed a lot within my family as well. It is the politics of appeasement of Muslim women. Those who were shell-shocked by UP election results need to wake up to this reality. Muslim women in India are going pro BJP and pro Modi. It is a tactic to gather about half of Muslim votes for BJP. Honestly, as a Muslim girl, I don't mind it one single bit. It gives a voice to Muslim women who were traditionally bundled with Muslim men. It also puts like of Mulayam Yadav in a fix. Actually ...for a change....now...politicians and religious leaders will think about their women to have opinion....views...feelings...worth....and finally will let them have wings too.
