Sorry to burst your bubble but Pakistan is relatively much safer place for women to roam around.

Of-course, Pakistan have its fair share of risky spots but much of the country is great for tourism. You just need good homework.

What Karachi issue? I can tell you about a South African colleague of mine who visited both countries.. she visited Karachi, Multan, Islamabad, Lahore.. and then some Indian cities..

She says that Pakistan is much cleaner and a better place than India.. In India, there is a particular smell you face immediately after coming out of the airport.. like some old shit all over the place.. that's not there in Pakistan in the first place..

You have to come to Pakistan to say this.. Pakistan is very safe for women.. The report that says that it is unsafe for women is because of our patriarchal system still being practiced in the north.. where women aren't allowed to vote even.. and we are trying to figure out how to correct the situation.. for example, not accepting results from constituencies where women voters are found to be less than some percent..

This is why Pakistan is considered unsafe.. but when you go to our main cities, such as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Rawalpidi and also the second and third tier cities, you will not find people groping women, or trying to take selfies or whatever.. this is special for India..

Our big problem is that we try to defend and culprit takes advantage.
