I take it you forgot the atrocities the Yamatos did to Asia. Many would call Fat Man and Little Boy 'cosmic justice'. U.S. military aid arrives in Japan amid concerns for nuclear plants - News - Stripes

The USS Ronald Reagan carrier strike group is expected to arrive Sunday along the east coast of Japan’s main Honshu island, where it will support relief efforts in areas hit hardest by the earthquake, 7th Fleet spokesman Cmdr. Jeff Davis said.

The Reagan was en route to South Korea, where it was scheduled to participate in a joint South Korean-U.S. military exercise this week.

The Reagan “is prepared to serve as an afloat platform for refueling Japan Self Defense Force and other helicopters involved in rescue and recovery efforts ashore,” Davis wrote in an e-mail.

Meanwhile, U.S. aircraft from Okinawa filled with medical and humanitarian relief supplies were scheduled to fly Saturday afternoon to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, where they would be pre-positioned to respond quickly to the devastated regions.

how many of you who live in your home country and not in western world contributed a buck towards Haiti? yeah... American households contributed 300 million. thats people who are middle class and lower overwhemingly.... walk the talk.

I spoke to my brother in India who used to hate Bush and always has some snide comment about the US and I asked him during Haiti crisis - what are Indians doing ? have they contributed one penny-- he said the govt has , but I asked what are you Indian citizens doing-- he was quiet. I'm sure that was the exact same scenario in Pakistan and china.

I love India, it will be always in my blood. I wish to be cremeted there when I die- but none of you folks in Pakistan and china or anywhere in the world can touch the charity of americans... so siry bob.

Do you know why so many countries hate the USA? Because the USA aid is political conditions attached.
USA not only to do their own, they also ask other countries to do that. For example, the USA has asked China to threaten the North Korea with aid.

your premise is based on ignorance.. 99% of the world hates china and not the US -as evident of your example of North Korean defense here. The world's biggest pariah followed by Iran = your bedfellows...
