Re-emergence of the ugly Aussie

Thats not the answer. You wanted to advice me something, I understood that but why me, I didn't got it!!!!!

Arey yaar...Chill.

I didn want to advise you anything...all the posts were in a way against the Aussies ,so I just wanted to say "Chill people".

lol @ all the Indians in this thread who are making generalizations of a whole country based on the actions of 1 or 2 people.

I can do the same, it's fairly easy to make stupid, moronic statements like what most of you are making watch.

There are a few Indians who are terrorists, so ALL Indians are terrorists.

An Indian taxi driver raped a woman here in Melbourne, so ALL Indians are rapists.

An Indian man lied about being set on fire by people, so ALL Indians are liars.

See? I can make the same stupid generalizations that you all make, and it's not right is it?

Next time you go to open your mouth and say something stupid, just think about what you are doing.

Lets not go overboard friends. Lets not generalize. One of the guys was actually a Tunisian naturalized as an Aussie. Though these incidents are very immature, for me the Aussies still remain one of the friendliest people on the planet.

I wish most Indians on these forums were as smart as you and didn't make silly generalization comments.

I guess most Indians on here aren't educated enough.

Keep your Bull to yourself!!

Athletes represents their nation and the best behaviour is expected from them. This is not the first time an Ausie player has reacted in such an ugly manner so what else do you want us call them, other than sore looser. Show me one example of athlete from a different country behaving in such an disrepectful manner and we already have two Australian ex in front us from this games and if you look back you will find many more examples from Cricket and other Games.

Look at your countrymen's action and judge it before giving some stupid advices here..

What is being shown is how Aussies think of themselves as published in their papers and not the opinion of anyone else.

Yet, one makes allowances for sensationalism that comes naturally to the media. However, just as S Asians have a reputation of their own so do the Aussies.

No, clearly i just said that only people that don't make generalizations are the educated ones and you can easily see who they are from reading their posts.

IMO Australians are just freakishly driven when it comes to sports- they are an overachieving sporting nation, and that kind of commitment creates a few rough edges that grate a lot of people.

If someone wants to win so badly, they will take defeat hard.

This said, there ain't no smoke without fire. Sports bodies in Australia need to reinforce good sportsmanship- Ponting has been admirable in this regard lately.

The news portal The Australian has posted what Indian media has been blabbering about Australia as a whole.

The Australian /(news portal) should know that Indians often cling to straws for solacing their bruised ego

Generalization based of few incident/incidents is common here in forum..

Havent u read words like "orange media", typical bharti mindset, blah blah blahsss.. quite often here.. so its part of it..have to live with it..

I think the guy says it right, you cant just blame the whole country because of few, we are in the same situation, and we know how it feels (actually in our case its worst) :agree:

You're right.

A few angry uneducated men blow themselves up and now we have a war on Isl-, oh, I mean, war on terror.

About the actual topic...

I have lived in Australia... not too pleased about the mindset. I grew up there... they would talk about Muslims as if we were animals.

Having said that, India shouldn't be in a position to complain. It happens in India (I read that christian houses were burnt down because apparently they were trying to convert Indians in India), it happens in Australia (but not just against Indians)

Just emotions, mate. We go overboard sometimes. Its a deeply-ingrained South Asian trait.
