Also nobody attacks any country on the Arabian Peninsula without getting problems from all other countries on the Peninsula. As seen in Bahrain. Political differences or not. A war would cause problems for KSA, UAE, Oman, Bahrain and greater instability in the region. It is not in the interest of anyone.

His wife is doing a lot of good humanitarian work. His policies are annoying on some ares but overall he is not that bad. He donated a lot of money to Darfur a few weeks ago as well.

Somewhat I disagree. Yes Qatar Emir once tried to act naughty but then he got his act altogether. You might have not heard of the coup that was about to get him down. Al-mari are sitting in his throat. Any miscalculated act will not drop in his favor at all.

Regardless of how he came to power, I would say he was politically immature but now he knows what he is doing.

I give him credits in his policy in Libya, Palestine esp in Gaza, Egypt although I don't trust Morsi but we did fund his campaign!, Africa and to his strong role in Syria.

I alos give him credits for the financial and humanitarian assist his country is offering to Muslims people/organizations worldwide.

What is the problem with Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani ? But mostly he did understand them clearly that oil and gas reserves from Qatar - even if they are huge - are not inexhaustible. Nothing was inexhaustible. It was imperative to act now. And for all this, they followed him without hesitation.
