বাংলাদেশের মাটিতে ভারতীয় গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা রিসার্চ অ্যান্ড অ্যানালাইসিস উইং ‘র’র হানা মেনে নেয়া যায় না। স্বাধীনতা সার্বভৌমত্ব অন্যের হাতে তুলে দেয়ার জন্য এদেশ স্বাধীন হয়নি। গতকাল জাতীয় প্রেস ক্লাবে এক আলোচনা সভায় বিএনপির স্থায়ী কমিটির সদস্য এ কথা বলেন।

জাতীয় প্রেস ক্লাবে ভিআইপি লাউঞ্জে বাংলাদেশ মেডিকেল টেকনোলজিস্ট ‘পেশাগত উন্নয়ন ও পেশাজীবী আন্দোলনে মরহুম হযরত আলীর’ ভূমিকা শীর্ষক এ আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করে।

রফিকুল ইসলাম বলেন, ‘ভারতের সঙ্গে আমাদের কোনো শত্রুতা নেই। ভারতের জনগণও বাংলাদেশে বর্তমান অনির্বাচিত আওয়াম লীগ সরকারকে সমর্থন করে না।’ বিএনপির লংমার্চ নিয়ে সরকারের মন্ত্রী-এমপিদের বক্তব্যের সমালোচনা করে তিনি বলেন, ‘বিএনপির জনবান্ধব কোনো আন্দোলনই সরকার মেনে নেয় না।’

রানা প্লাজা ধসের ঘটনার উল্লেখ করে বিএনপির এ নেতা বলেন, এ ঘটনায় ১ হাজার ১৩৫ জনের মৃত্যুতে বিশ্ববিবেককে নাড়া দিয়েছে। এখনও তাদের পরিবার সঠিক ক্ষতিপূরণ পায়নি। প্রধানমন্ত্রী তহবিলে জমা ১২৮ কোটি টাকার মধ্যে মাত্র ২২ কোটি টাকা বিতরণ হয়েছে। বাকি টাকা কেন দেয়া হচ্ছে না?’ রফিকুল ইসলাম দাবি করেন, ‘বিএনপি আর আওয়ামী লীগের মধ্যে পার্থক্য হলো নির্বাচন। আওয়ামী লীগ বিনা ভোটেই ক্ষমতায় যায়। বিএনপির ক্ষেত্রে এমন নজির নেই।’

বর্তমান সংসদে বিরোধী দলের ভূমিকা প্রসঙ্গে রফিকুল ইসলাম বলেন, ‘সংসদে বিরোধী দলের কোনো ভূমিকা নেই। তারা সরকারেও আছে, এমনকি তাদের দলপ্রধান প্রধানমন্ত্রীর বিশেষ দূত।’

সংগঠনের ভারপ্রাপ্ত সভাপতি একেএম মুসা লিটনের সভাপতিত্বে এতে অন্যদের মধ্যে বক্তব্য রাখেন, ড্যাবের আহ্বায়ক অধ্যাপক ডা. এজেডএম জাহিদ হোসেন, ছাত্রদলের সাবেক সভাপতি সুলতান সালাহউদ্দিন টুকু, হযরত আলীর স্ত্রী জেসমিন আক্তার প্রমুখ।

So now you have started taking ToI seriously? Tumo don come and cry if Times publishes a scathing article on BD or your lovely terrorist sympathisizers.
Really do you think such matters will be told to media? Have a sense. If this news are true, Times wouldnt have opened its mouth, and if its editor still had the guts, he would be now in a jail under NSA act.

Doesn't changes the fact that you do cherry picking. What you like is a fact and what you don't is a make believe story. Just like this article. You firmly believe that it was raw, but doubt that it was an ISI guy. You would discredit ToI when it suits you, but here, it is a half legit, part believable source. Pick your sides, give legit proofs, don't go cherry picking.
