Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of our nation Pakistan delivers the inaugural address at the opening of the State Bank of Pakistan in Karachi on July 1st, 1948.

According to his sister, Fatima Jinnah he was so weak at the time, he was silent along the way to the ceremony in order to conserve his energy. During his patriotic and rousing address, no one could guess at the state of his health. His dedication and love for Pakistan was evident in his actions on this day as he passed away just two months later due to his poor health.
