Not alway be shit.hole be sure. Now the culture is changing. In BNP era cross fire was for opposition, in BAL era it's for criminals ,drug pedllers in most cases . Exceptions are Sinha murder and few others .

Only crime is happening outside of such isolated disaster is , crime of BCL.

It's not that in BNP regime such violence against women and children didn't happen . But happen in larger numbers and more severe than now .

Still I believe rape and violence agains women are most heinous crime and even reduction of the crime is not a solution, you need to annihilate the nasty violence and cross fire and extra judicial killing is necessary to stop rape violence.

Police have arrested an Awami League leader named Tamiz Uddin Nayan, 50, for allegedly raping an 8th class schoolgirl (12) in Sonagazi, Feni. Nayan is the president of Awami League, the 8th ward of the union. He became the uncle of the abused student.
He was arrested from his residence at Chuni Majhi Bari in Vadadia village of Matiganj around 10:30 pm on Thursday.
Police, the victim's family and locals said there was a furniture shop in front of the house of Tamiz Uddin Nayan, son of the late Syed Ahmed, of Chuni Majhi Bari in Vadadia village. On Thursday, October 1, at around 8 am, Nayan raped the schoolgirl of an employee of his shop while she was going for private lessons.
Nayan also threatened to kill him and his father if he told anyone about the incident. When Nayan's wife saw the matter, he also beat her to close her mouth.
But when the matter came to light during the quarrel between the husband and wife, it spread on Facebook. Later, around 8 pm on Thursday, the student told her parents about the incident.
Sonagazi Model Police OC (investigation) said. Abdur Rahim Sarkar said the student's mother had filed a case against Tamiz Uddin Nayan at Sonagazi Model Police Station at night.

In the language of the police mentioned in the statement, they are determined to work for the maintenance of internal order at all costs in the interest of the people of the country. However, despite failing to curb heinous crimes like rape, the police went on a mission to control the movement by disappearing the protesting youths for the safety of lives and property of the people. This proves that the protection of women from heinous crimes like rape does not fall under the responsibility of the police! The responsibility of the police and the government is to suppress the youth who have risen up against rape and injustice. Less than 24 hours have passed since the logical spontaneous movement was threatened. In the meanwhile, the process of abducting and disappearing the three leaders of the General Student Rights Protection Council is proving once again that it is not the safety of the lives and property of the people but the control of those who will protest against this security.

Three leaders of Bangladesh General Student Rights Council have been missing since they were forcibly taken away in the identity of DB yesterday afternoon.They are, the joint convener of the organization's central committee. Saiful Islam and Dhaka University Committee Vice President. Nazmul Huda, said the joint convener of the Central Committee. Sohrab Hossain.
Missing Saiful and Nazmul Huda are the accused in the case against six people, including Nurul Haque Nur, vice-president of the Central Student Parliament (Daksu) of Dhaka University, against whom a DU student had filed a rape case. Rashed added that Nazmul Huda, vice-president of their organization's DU committee, went to the capital's Maghbazar today (Sunday) to take an oral exam for a job at a company. After the examination, he was picked up from the gate in the name of DB at around 2 pm. On the other hand, the joint convener of the organization's central committee. Saiful Islam was also picked up as DB from Chankharpul in the capital at 8pm on Sunday.

The acting convener of the Bangladesh General Student Rights Council has demanded the immediate return of the three leaders to their families.Besides the police statement, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said in a statement last Saturday that the government would not tolerate chaos in the name of the movement. There were striking similarities between the statements of the police headquarters and the general secretary of the Awami League.

After the general secretary of the Awami League and the police headquarters spoke in unison, news came that 3 leaders who were leading various movements for the protection of students' rights, starting from quota reform, had gone missing. The fascist police have returned to the old ways of torturing the people.
