If a person is found guilty of rape or any sexual assault he is beheaded in public. The body and the head is then stitched together and buried in a grave. The punishment is same for both men and women if they commit the crime. Also there is a provision for execution through stones. If a person commits rape stones are showered upon him until he dies. This death is not easy and quick but more painful, and the criminal has to suffer until he dies.

the above are strictly followed in Saudi Arabia.

i myself have never been known about bangladesh so much,

but as far upto the ratio bangladesh rape ratio is very less as to compare indians.

Indians are the most highest on rape ratio.

শিশু ধর্ষণের শাস্তি হিসেবে মৃত্যুদণ্ড এবং অন্য ধর্ষণের জন্য আমৃত্যু কারাদণ্ডের বিধান করার দাবি জানিয়েছেন বিকল্পধারা বাংলাদেশের প্রেসিডেন্ট অধ্যাপক এ কিউ এম বদরুদ্দোজা চৌধুরী।

রোববার দুপুরে রাজধানীর কুড়িল বিশ্বরোডে বিকল্পধারার কেন্দ্রীয় কার্যালয়ে দলীয় নেতা-কর্মীদের সঙ্গে ঈদুল আজহার শুভেচ্ছা বিনিময় অনুষ্ঠানে তিনি এ দাবি জানান।ধর্ষণের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ার দাবিতে দলটি রাজধানীসহ সারা দেশে প্রতিবাদ কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করে।

প্রাক্তন রাষ্ট্রপতি বি চৌধুরী বলেন, ‘আজ সামাজিক দুর্যোগের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের সোচ্চার হতে হবে। নারী ও শিশু নির্যাতন হচ্ছে, ধর্ষণের ঘটনা ঘটছে প্রতিনিয়ত। ছোট ছোট শিশু এবং মহিলাদের ধর্ষণ করে হত্যা পর্যন্ত করা হচ্ছে। দেশে এই অবস্থা কখনো ছিল না। আর ধর্ষণের শাস্তির বর্তমান আইনটি দুর্বল বলে মনে হয়।’

অ্যাসিড সন্ত্রাসের শাস্তি হিসেবে মৃত্যুদণ্ডের বিধান প্রচলনের কথা উল্লেখ করে প্রাক্তন এ রাষ্ট্রপতি বলেন, ‘দেশে যখন অ্যাসিড সন্ত্রাস চলছিল, এর শাস্তি হিসেবে মৃত্যুদণ্ডের বিধান করার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে অ্যাসিড সন্ত্রাস বন্ধ হয়েছিল। তেমনি আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, শিশু ধর্ষণের জন্য মৃত্যুদণ্ড হওয়া উচিত এবং অন্যান্য ধর্ষণের জন্য বিশেষ করে যাদের সন্তান-সন্ততি আছে, যারা অল্পবয়স্ক ছাত্রী বা চাকরিজীবী তাদের ধর্ষণের শাস্তি হিসেবে আমৃত্যু কারাদণ্ডের বিধান করতে হবে।’

বি চৌধুরী আরো বলেন, ‘যদি এমন কঠোর ব্যবস্থা করা যায়, তাহলে সমাজ থেকে ধর্ষণের মতো অনাচার বিদায় নেবে। এ ব্যাপারে যদি এখনই কঠিন ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া না হয় তাহলে এই অবস্থার পরিবর্তন হবে না।’

বেলা ১১টা থেকে দুপুর ১টা পর্যন্ত বিকল্পধারার কেন্দ্রীয় কার্যালয়ে আয়োজিত শুভেচ্ছা বিনিময় অনুষ্ঠানে দলের মহাসচিব অবসরপ্রাপ্ত মেজর আবদুল মান্নান, কেন্দ্রীয় নেতা ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোহাম্মদ ইউসুফ, আজিজ আখন্দ, রফিকুল ইসলাম, মো. শাহ আলম, নবাব বাহাদুর, ওবায়েদুর রহমান মৃধা, বি এম নিজাম, আবুল বাশার প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
