what has J to do with tobacco ...both Japan and Jordan are the worst ..
Pakistan should get a better score because as far as I know government has been discouraging the use of cigarettes...May be increasing the tax will help

But the study was done by Thai people from a Thai university in Thailand.

And they used data which they got from each country.

How is that Western bias?
Yes, Christina and marry are very Thai and Bloomberg is also very Thai. More Thai then pad Thai. Also the agency that is supposed to be "respectfully of their country" in pakistan belongs to Bloomberg and its and NGO. So that days alot about this unofficial, fabricated and non-government approved report.

Also HRIDAY in india that supposedly provided them information about tabacco, has nothing to do with tabacco. It's a government owned company that takes care of heritage buildings in cities. So again this is complete propaganda and bullshit like always.

Ok. The people that did the research are not Thai, but the research was done in cooperation with a Thai university.

And making this index was initiated by the South-East Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), which is not Western.

Also, you selected only a few organisations to prove that this index is propaganda.

But when you look at the whole list, you can see plenty of organisations that are working in the fields of (anti-)tobacco, (anti-)smoking, cancer, health etc.

And when you look at the index you can see that the United States (where Bloomberg is based) is placed higher than Pakistan (which means that the United States has more interference from the tobacco industry than Pakistan). India also ranks higher than Pakistan.

So, how do you explain that then?

If Pakistan has less interference from the tobacco industry than the United States, how can this be western propaganda?

Don't strain yourself. It's the same as "Har cheez Amrika kara raha hay" mindset. It's easier for people to reject things when they attach an agenda to it. No ammount of statistcal data work on such people.
