Ramazan to commence on Saturday: Mufti Popalzai

Saw the moon at maghrib time today, it was definitely the second day moon, considering its thickness and position in the sky.
Maybe we should just get rid of this rohat e halal committee and charge the meteorological department to do the job. Hopefully then we would not be missing one fast and fasting on eid day every year!!

Spotted the moon today myself

The fact that no one else could sight the Ramadan new moon in Pakistan is irrelevant. Obviously Allah has especially chosen Popalzai and his followers to reveal the Ramadan Crescent the same day as Saudi Arabia each year.
Sir, he was right. You should've seen the moon today, it was definitely not a new moon but more like a day old.

Just saw the moon. Geya aaj ka roza. had hoti hai.

its bigger than what first day is supposed to be
Yes, remember being in Pakistan a few times, new moon is usually barely visible to naked eye.

Yes i also couldn't see it yesterday, but i don't have any telescopes or binoculars and the sky has a bit of a smog.
The first moon is supposed to be lower in the sky, close to the horizon, and extremely thin, so that you can loose track of it even if you blink.
Bloody disgrace this rohat e halal committee :hitwall:
