Government cannot force people to be tolerant as we have limits..At a time when majority is fasting a small group of healty young youths cannot be allowed to rub it in their faces and somebody will get angry and that will casue public disorder..

...Its today's illiterate youth who want to get rid of Islam alltogether or distort it same way as christians did to christianity who have a problem..

.

Ah now i am starting to see a pattern, those dreadfull youth that are corrupting Islam and society, rubbing our noses in their burgers and music and dancing and tight jeans and fun, with their mobile phones and gf's. Yes we should get the police to stamp out such rampant enjoyment of youth which creates such suffering in those that have forgotten what it is to be young.

Reminds me of some one:
The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers. Attributed to SOCRATES by Plato

Never thought i would compare Safriz to Socrates but there is always a first for every thing.

I have no control on your thoughts my friend.
You can remember donald duck if you want...i dont really care.

And to clarify your ignorance.
Choudhry is the guy who talks of imposing islamic law on non muslims.
I am talking of my own right to practice my religion in my own life..
So there is your stupidity cleared.

and by "them" i mean people who hate me for me practicing my religion..i cannot please them and wont try....and 'them' may include you.

No, you are talking about forcing people who choose not to fast to stop eating. What would the punishment for that offense be? How do you know that they do not have a reason that they don't fast? You overbearing mullah types bring a wrong image to our faith by letting your ***** burn over every little thing. Idiots trying to punish people that is not your job that is God's job he will deal with them as he may.

The same way Burning a Flag is, burning that poppy thing that you guys had in Britain or bringing 'God hates Gays' banners at a dead gay soldier's funerals ! None of those things are illegal but they're all deeply offensive and rightly so for they go against all norms of decency and offends the sensibilities of the society as a whole. The only difference is that whereas in those cases the society says we're going to draw a line at 'Point A'...these guys are saying we'd draw it a little further at 'Point B' i.e if there is nothing wrong with you then for godsake have the decency of not munching on a Hardees Burger or gulping down on a Pepsi, in front of someone who has been fasting for the better part of the day in the swealtering heat of the summers with a few more hours to go ! Have the common decency of doing that in private ! If one is rational then so is the other...its just the point of where you draw the line that is different and thats probably due to the different nature of how religion is perceived in our societies and how it is in the West.

Yaar if someone is fasting they should not be walking into a cafe to begin with. What did they expect to be going on inside of a cafe??

And the so called moderates..."Na teen mein naa terah main" Adhay teetarr adhay bateir ..

Its Pakistan and Pakistan's cultural and social needs which you foreigners cannot understand....

No point in arguing with you as you dont understand the country you are talking about...better do something useful with your time.

For non muslims and to prepare for the night, when the fast opens.

You cannot force people to fast. This is just like the topic that Bhartis brought up where Chinese were forcing people not to fast. You were one of the people who pointed out that it is not possible to enforce something like that so how is this any different.

Emmie smoking in public is like peeing in the common swimming pool :D

For that reason you do need to plug the rear ends of all cows in the world..they fume too much Metahane in the "Public swimming pool" ..
Every argument has a counter argument ;)

these tamashbeen liberals dont even know how to respect holy month of ramadan....cause their upbringing is tamashbeen from young age they see dance parties and wine parties in their homes with their parents dancing with stranger tamashbeen liberals.....they dont know what ramadan is....neither do they know what fasting is...........

islamabad police should import pigs from india....then they should blacken the faces of these tamashbeen liberals eating in ramadan make them sit on the swines and then hand them over to Border security force of india as gifts for dewali...........these tamashbeen liberals dont deserve to live to live in Pakistan....they should return to their home india.

Its not about respect.

Its about religious freedom. Freedom to practice a Religion as one sees fit without governemnt interference.

Who the hell is the Pakistani Government to tell anyone how to practice a Religion?

Is it any wonder why I am so happy that my Parents left Pakistan and I grew up in the West where I have more freedom as a Muslim than under any Muslim country on the planet. :D

Fine fine you win. Since I don't agree with your version of mullahbaazi Islam my opinion has no standing in Pakistan. It is little things like this that make Pakistan a laughing stock in this world. I am nothing but a RAW conspiracy. I hope you and others who agree with this open your damn eyes one day and realize how ludicrous these type of laws really are.

paaji identity crisis kis baat ki.?

Rehne dai tuusi jaano tho twade flag jaane. Es kabar kii baat karien.

Long time ago i was dating a white British woman..a big fat one to be honest...and while sat in a car in a car park..just talking to her at night some whites saw us and didnt like me a brown guy dating one of theirs and reported to police..
The police came round, both of us were in full clotyhes, not doing anything sexual, yet they asked us to move..
I protested and raised the point that we are two concenting adults we can do what they want..The police agreed on that and then said that the people here are irritated by your presence and may cause harm and since we have suspicion that you may get harmed we have the right to remove you under such and such law and removed us from there...not only that they said that i should go home and leave the bimbo alone as they are more concerned about her safety..whicch i knew they were making up..

So there you go..law can be manipulated and played around with in every country, not just Pakistan..But its the domonant hate against Pakistan and Islam which makes yourself and many to point finger at Pakistan and Pakistan only...

To make sense of it...
People eating publicly in Pakistan while most are fasting will draw public attentionand anger...it shojld be like this or not its a seperate debate.
So for avoiding disturbance and keep law and order while remaining within police resources its better to remove the few hippies than to stand guard holding back an angry crowd..
Police forces round the world make this type of 'choice of convenience' and pakistsni police is no different.

nazis....................but one thing is sure beating the crap out out of those who smoke in public is the better punishment.
Btw Allah has given brain to human so that he can distinguish whats good whats not.smoking is not a natural process which HE Himself has designed but its the discovery of man.But than man can atleast use the brain provided by Allah to Smoke in a lounge. As for cow Allah didnt provide it brain as big as man so that it can go in separate room and fart there.and plucking her rear end is like interfereing against the natural process of Allah who himself has provided the cow with this.

Sure everything has counter arguments.but one should also use brains provided by Allah to see if it fits in properly in the context.peeing in pool is not as natural as cow farting in open.

It has to do with cultural and religious sensitivities. It would be wise for you to study the Lal Masjid incident and why it happened. This law is necessary for our nation and Zia was wiser than many to this day.

I do not hate Pakistan or Islam. I am always defending Pakistan on this forum, the one time I call Pakistan out on something that is really nothing more than a dumb unenforceable law people like you take up arms to try and justify stupidity. If you knew who my family is in Pakistan you wouldn't call me a hater of Islam. My ancestors have probably done more for Islam in the subcontinent than most others. This law is nothing more than the left over remaining of the Zia ul Haq era which most Pakistanis would agree was a dark time for Pakistan.
