Rallies held as Pakistanis express solidarity with Kashmiris
5th February 2016|AGENCIES
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday called for resolving the lingering issue of Kashmir in accordance with the resolutions of UN Security Council, saying the credibility of the global organisation will be at stake if it fails to implement its own decisions.

Nawaz Sharif spoke to lawmakers in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan's part of Kashmir, as the countrymen observed “Kashmir Day.” Pakistan observes the day by holding rallies and arranging seminars on the issue of Kashmir.

The Kashmir Solidarity Day is observed as a national event since 1990, when the late Qazi Hussain Ahmed, the then chairman of Jamaat-i-Islami, had given the call for observing solidarity with Kashmiris for the first time on Feb 5.

Various religious and political parties held rallies and demonstrations across the country voicing support for the struggle of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.

All the educational institutes and government organisations were closed as there was a country-wide public holiday.

. . . .
Why don't they show solidarity with Iraqi and Syrian women , I have even not seeseen this solidarity with pakistani army when there is bomb blasts or attacks, all these rallies are sponsored by groups like JUD & lashkars, have these people shown solidarity with Pakistani shias and ahmadis when they are bombed by lashkar-e- janghvi , ye Sab ek packet biryani keliye kar rahein hain.

@SrNair
In reality you are wasting your time, energy and bullets by murdering the innocent Kashmiris who seek justice. The people and the land belong to us.. It was never yours and never will.

.
No Offense .They are just wasting their time .
Neither Kashmiris nor GoI interested in this drama.
Accept this reality .You wont get a single inch of land from India.

We have got quite a lot of land from India my dear sir.

We got quite a fair bit of your land in the Rann of Kutch and still after our Kargil incursions we still retain some positions in Kargil and haven't gone back to the LOC :D

Pakistan Movement was once a waste of time too for a long time. But ultimately we cut the Mother India up into three pieces. A quarter of India now ISLAMIC land. A fifth of sacred Hindu Land is now the ISLAMIC Republic of Pakistan. The other 5% is Bangladesh, an increasingly religious country.

That too after we Muslims ruled you Hindus for a 1000 years.

India has kept on losing land, be it how we took Azad Kashmir in 1948 or how the Chinese took your land in 1960s.

Pray for well being of Pakistani on its Islamic land more than for Kashmiris in India.....

No one's slitting anyone''s throats in Pakistan. That seems like a blurb of Modi's upcoming antiques in India. Enjoy!!

The race of green has already ousted the Ahmedia out of Islamic fold....
Rest of terrorists activities of todays time are the result of walking shoulder to shoulder with US for inbreeding mujhaideen gangs to haunt USSR in Afghanistan n later to India ....
"You reap what you sow" ....
What goes around comes around" .... Cheers your success.....

Nowhere in the world are Ahmedis considered Muslims

I am sure Indian textbooks teach you that Pakistan is responsible for the middle east troubles today too

I thought the Pakistani historical narrative, was region of Pakistan historical had nothing to do with India, and Pakistan always was more related to Turks, Central Asians and Persians.

Good to see you admit your nation was historically part of India

PS: your grand achievement of dividing India has resulted in approx 500 million Muslims of subcontinent being divided into 3 part, probably the major reason why subcontinent's Muslims seem to submissive attitude towards Arabs or leaching off Turkish and Afghan victories.

By dividing Muslims of subcontinent into 3 parts, Pakistanis have merely continued with their historical tradition of being divided and not forming an empire, which led over 2400 years of uninterrupted subjugation by external empires from Achaemenids, Greeks, Huns, Sycthicans, Arabs, Turks, Afghans and finally the British.

I guess some things never change.
