you think??? AIT is rubbish.
The inhabitants of IVC/SSC moved to greener pastures in the west due to cataclysmic event (in this case drying up of river Saraswati). Aryans or the so called newcomers came in towards the end of late Happan period- around 1000BC. Unlike Harappans, these newcomers used to live in circular huts, and had inferior wares.

There has been no instance of recorded evidence of new gene being introduced in the Indian gene pool post 3000 B.C. Paper Published in Nature and one more Journal. Aryan Invasion is a lie.

Aryan Invasion is a lie.
ofcourse it is.
There was no "invasion"...just a few nomads who had started using the place after Harappans left. (I am talking about Dholavira in this case).

.
being a pk citizen i can say that most of pakistanis donot claim indus valley civilization i do not know if it is good or bad but we claim invaders like ghaznavi and babur and we also claim the mughals but trust me all is shared heritage of Pak and India. my opinion...

Umm.. Not exactly. so no *peaceful migration* either the Indian gene pool is consistent on this. the fair skin bluff is evolutionary the Caucasian white skin appeared only 6000 years ago. Primarily because of the weather, India too faced similar *read overcast* conditions 3000 Ago (rainfall was consistent throughout India, and Rajasthan was lush green. turn off water to *any land area* it will become a desert in 50 years) , climatic changes induced high melanin pigmentation to protect from harmful sun-rays. natural response, happens quickly than whitening of the skin.

your theory? :coffee:

I think that the aryan invaded their lands and declared them shudras and they declared themselves to be higher castes ofcourse their might be alternative theories to who the natives were and why did such an advance civilization disappear

No Sir, Aryans did not invade from anywhre else. This has been genetically proved. The history we have learnt is a distorted one by the British.

Published papers, mostly in scientific journals, Evolutionary genetics is a relatively new field, serious research began only after 1995. NatGeo has a program on it "Project Origins" almost every month new genetic data is rewriting Anthropological studies, Centuries old convenient truths are shaking. mostly propagated by Europeans that somehow they were a superior race, and this comes from the theological basis of tower babel as being the root of everything.

Geological survey of India and IIT, Kanpur has published paper in 1970s on Climatic studies. mostly in archives, it took a well 6 months of my study on this. I can post loads of data but seeing what pdf has become, I might as well get that published in some journal, which no one in this forum bothers to read anyway.

This is very simplistic way to say that : Are you an Aryan invader? Colonial views on fair-skinned Aryans vs dark-skinned Dravidians have wide political currency today - TOI Blogs

So this is the largest centre of the indus valley civilization?Greater than mahenjo daro or harappa?Thats very impressive and might be somewhat demoralizing for some.

I fail to see how this site will unlock mysteries? There have been many skeletons found earlier in Pakistani sites. DNA is already available. I also fail to see on what grounds they claimed that this site is larger than Harrappa and Mohen jo Daro? And how on earth entire India can claim ancestry to a civilization in whose time they were still in stone age as cattle herders and jungle hunters/ fruit gatherers. Large scale farming was yet to take shape there. Alas attempts to steal history continues.

A bit off topic but i would like to know what this thing is called from song Barso Re. These are very common in ancient places of South India. Saw something similar in Mysore i think when i visited South India just don't remember i was very small......

If I'm guessing your question correctly, these are called Vav, or Baori or step wells. They are a now somewhat forgotten but beautiful part of our heritage and found all over India. I am not sure about Pakistan but they must be present there too.

Some of them are beautiful, architectural curiosities.

You can read all about them below:

A stunning example of the type is a UNESCO word heritage site in Gujarat.

Not every Indian can claim it as its own, just like not every Pakistani can. How can invader claim it just because it comes under thier land now? And here were are talking about civilizations and not only the land which was abandoned. The pattern of settlement over time can tell where they moved probably.

Paksanity,

The people who lived in those ancient Pak cities later shifted to India. Today's Pakis are proud descendants of Arabs, Turks, Persians and Afghans. That is why they are tall and fair.

Regards

There were no 'Pak cities', it was Indian civilization.

It looks very very similar to Mohenjo Daro bath
Mohenjodaro_Sindh.jpeg

Hindus are advised to take bath before entering the temple. Hence a pond was always attached to the temple for the devotees to take bath.

Today's temples may not always have them as people take bath at home before they visit a temple but most of the old temples would have them. Following are some sample pictures and videos. Anyone thinking that IVC was not part of Hindu culture are delusional. The civilization got destroyed in a nuclear war.
