Indians are quite a special breed of annoying People. Little do they know how nature Works. Increasing sea Levels will never drown Bangladesh but insted increase its land mass area. Due to increased water Depth, successive layers of sediments will be deposited in riverine land and nearshore. Today sediments are mostly transported offshore.

in my personal experience and I am no geologist what I have seen is new land coming up in the costal area day by day.

But without doubt the defenses need to be improved to face the climate challenges. There will be gains and losses but BD will stand despite the illwishers predictions.
