THE EVOLUTION
Ground attack aircraft are coloured so that when a fighter patrol are looking down to spot them they merge with the ground colours they are flying against.
Low level flight pattern during Strike missions were common. Hiding behind clutter used to give tactical advantage.
Various livery / camouflage schemes were used globally.
Let's look at the RAF Jaguar strike and reconnaissance aircraft.
Originally designed for low-level strike missions over East Germany it had a green and grey disruptive camouflage pattern.
A4 Skyhawk literally un-spottable.

PAF Colours
And the latest entrant
Presenting ...
".. Imagery of the latest batch of J-10CEs shows that the aircraft carry a green-gray camouflage scheme with sky blue undersides. The livery is a departure from the J-10's standard colour scheme of low-visibility gray.
Janes assesses that the camouflage pattern is similar to the colour scheme employed by the PAF's Mirage 5PA fleet. These aircraft are tasked with low-level maritime attack duties."
