its not Hindi its pure Urdu in your movies, I watched one Hindi talk show that someone pasted a video here on a forum and i could hardly understand it. As far as why people pay for something they dont understand, we should ask this to Afghans, Nepalese, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans why they watch India Movies.

Its difficult to understand language in the purest forms (be it Hindi or Urdu) even i cannot understand pure Hindi completely. Language as spoken are different form literary versions of it (used in few talk shows)

Video which you have watched would be exception. Watch 10 Indian talk shows and 9 of them will sould same as bollywood

Bollywood doesn't needs an actor , an actor needs Bollywood so your argument that Pakistani artists shouldn't work for Bollywood is a farce and even if it somehow that turns out to be true it ain't gonna affect bollywood a single bit . There is an Iranian , an aussie ,a sri lankan , nigerian etc etc etc standing in the audition queue as we speak .

Aray bhai, your industry is too big and you don't need anyone, we know that bit. Where did I say that bollywood would sink without our actors? I'm telling my actors to save themselves the pain and stay in Pakistan and work for less money then to go to India and fear for their lives and get insulted for being Pakistani. I know my country well and can definitely say that Bollywood language in the Spoken Hindi, and there are more than twic the population of Pakistan who can easily communicate in the fashion.

These are hindi movies which when spoken is very similar to urdu. The script is completely different.

Do you really think these movies will earn 100's of crores if the people of India are NOT able to understand the language?

You are able to grasp the language because speaking wise it is 80% similar to Urdu. What you are showing in youtube videos is very pure hindi which majority of the people will not understand.

My mother tongue is Hindi but when I read govt notices in Hindi I am not able to grasp the meaning in the first try because they use highly sanscritised hindi which is not used in common everyday communication. For example they will say Dwaar instead of Darwaja. Both mean door but in common everyday hindi we will use Darwaja. When you hear common everyday Hindi you will think they are speaking Urdu because of 80% similarity but it is Hindi. For example in the movies they will use the word Pradhan Mantri (Hindi) instead of Wazir-e-azam (urdu). They use Desh (hindi) instead of Mulk (urdu)
