• Our film industry in recent years have improved leaps and bounds but one big hurdle still remains is influence of Bollywood, we just don't have good scripts, no ideas of our own, just copying the shitload from the other side of the border. Problem is Bollywood too has gone down the hill, not talking about business but their material, once it's used to be good but for past 8 years or so, it's all about face value/big names. They put couple item songs, some vulgar jokes, stupid fight scenes, a bit romance and a "khan" , and viola , you have a blockbuster doing hundreds of crores. It's a miracle if Bollywood produce one good movie a year now, in fact many low key movies in Bollywood which doesn't feature any big names turn out to be better then their blockbusters. We should produce something genuine of our own rather then copying others, are all good writers dead, they give excuse that we make this because people like this kind of stuff, where as truth is common people has no choice but to like whatever best presented to them, it's all relative, and their is so much room for betterment.
