Now that you said it, I think we seriously need a chief representative of scientific communities in the Parliament, such as space, defence research, genetic research, molecular biology research, biotech research etc.

It is very important that useless politicians know and address the concerns of the scientific community and scientific community be given a voice in the parliament.

When Sachin can become Rajya Sabha member then why cant Dr Radhakrishnan , there is truth in what you are saying , he should decide about it what he wants to do, Have Dr Radhakrishnan being approached by any party ?

@Tshering22 isro has only one major customer isro. All of the program like slv pslv gslv mk123 are for isro use. That is the biggest difference
