I doubt, it maybe, irrelevant to the topic but even USA has many presidents and vital States Secretaries of military background... like president junior bush, SecDef Donald Rumsfeld. why Pakistan can't get one now, why generals not comes into politics and gradually cleanse domestic political environment at minimum level!?

We Should have Started Raddul Fasad Way back. But it is good that Finally we are doing it ...

The infrastructure was way too strong and the free sanctuaries were way too many for any internal operation to yield good results. With the sanctuaries mostly gone from tribal belt, any flush out from settled areas will yield better and long lasting results

P.S: Army has been gathering intelligence for this for quite a long time
