As I said, racism exist everywhere. You can denied it and say it does not happen on A, B and C, that does not make it right, that only make you blind to the fact, and that is the definition of Hypocritical.

On the other hand, as "worse" as it gets in the West, you wouldn't have a service on Ebay paying Chinese Children put up a sign and said "I am Chini (Can't use that word) and I am stupid" and get away with that.

As I said I don't even believe Racism is a crime in China, that show you how much different between the West and China.

Oh yeah, they the police even often get away of killing innocent colored Americans even if the the incidents are recorded on camera and made public in the West, especially the US, just for being racist. The courts often discharge the police as innocent, literally giving the police free hand to shot colored people at will pretty much.

It's a bit rich for Indians to claim the high ground. This is the "world's largest democracy" which elected the butcher of Gujarat, a man who openly campaigned on religious hatred, as their Prime Minister. The results are there for all to see.

I don't know the exact laws regarding racism in China since I am not there for very long time. I would imagine that there would be laws or regulations for serious racism crimes. What's the good even if you have the codes in books against racism, and the people suppose to rule and implement these codes more often discard them or twist the interpretations of the codes to suit whites' interests as is often the case in USA.

If they are no laws about racism in China, then maybe Chinese think themselves are not too racially different so to make cases of them.

Chinese have already showed their debt traps in Sri Lanka.

Look China was a closed of society for centeries and didn't interact with a lot of races throughout history unlike ME, to some extent south Asia, Latin America and than Europe

To casually target children like that tells me the video maker is from a culture of callous, normalized racism.

to me it looks like a bait, and possibly part of a smear campaign. there are no video makers with even the smallest fan base would upload such content unless they think their account is disposable.

putting a black person in a teeth-whitening commercial is what you would expect from the “Chinese style” racism, tricking a bunch of kids into saying “I'm a niggar and I'm an idiot” is not.

I said I don't know, it doesn't mean those laws or rules don't exist, China laws make any derogatory remarks hurting the unity of Chinese ethnic groups an offence as I know, but I m not sure about the details. racsim exists in every human community but the severity varies a lot, racial based crimes are prevalent in the west , but they are basically non existent in China is also a hard fact, both you and me know this fact clearly.

Anyway, as I said, you cannot stop people from being racist. All you can do is that you legislate it so people won't do it at least in public, if there are law and mechanism in China to stop these type of stuff, then this entire incident would not happen to begin with, this is not happening in 1980 or 1990, this happened 1 and a half year ago. Again, if you done the same trick on Ebay, well, they probably will not list it and automatically filtered out, but if you really do, be prepared to be sue til your a$$ is clean......

Again, that is the different between the West and China.
