Racial harmony in Singapore: How Singaporean Chinese did it

Bullshit, don't lie to yourselves. It can get along well with Tibetan, Taiwanese, these are political problem, it will be easily solved. But the Muslim is totally another story, it's religion, culture, social system, values difference and don't forget Muslim hate Kafir for no reason. You help Muslim, they won't thank you. They will say it's Allah's help. What the hell ! Can you say you have Hui Muslim friends? 100% you don't have, I am sure.

I do. They are good people. It's the Uyghur (from specific regions) that are the problem, not Islam.

Well said. Don't be fooled by the smile, just like a smile of dolphins

Japan and Dolphinstan do not have good relations.

Off topic: Why does Malaysia's flag look similar to the US flag? Who in Malaysia designed the flag or made the decision?

On Topic: I've never travelled to Malaysia but from what I have read there is a government sponsored racial hierarchy there with ethnic Malays given preferential treatment and priority in the government and private sector. This hierarchy leads to discontent among the groups at the bottom like the Indian Malays who are impoverished and have high rates of unemployment or underemployment.

Does anyone know how the Pakistani community is Malaysia is faring? How big is the community? Status of the community?

Pakistani, I know some of them at Plaza Lowyat selling, and repairing computer. Outside Kuala Lumpur, they are a rarity.

We don't bash nor look down on the friendly country.

Have you seen any Chinese member here looked down on Pakistan?

As for those anti-China nations, we just won't show any respect to them anymore.

You really don't hve clear bain, pitiful guy.
Please don't twist everything together, get it? Islam is belief, not a world.

Chinese and Pakistani, in history and in reality, respect each other, didn't have historical hate or pratical clash.
Chinese and ME and North African Muslim, are far away, we mostly only have business relationship.

Back to Malay Muslims, answer my 3 questions.
1. Did Indonesia declare war on China in 1960's?
2. They didn't declare war against China, for what fvkings excuse, they massacred more than half a million Chinese?
3. Malay Muslim discriminate and hate Chinese even nowadays, they don't change their attitude, what the hell make you show your kindness to them firstly? You don't know mutual respect and kindness.

I always have one question. Why the Indonesia became a Dutch colony even before the industrial revolution in 18th century?
1. Before industrial revolution, Dutch didn't have any advanced weapons to invade your country.
2. Holland was not a strong European country, and is hundreds of thousand miles away.

I am not familiar with the history, can you give me some informations?

They do that step by step, not all Indonesian get conquered at such long time. Jakarta in Java is one of the longest colony of Dutch, but many areas were still get freedom even though some have already been invaded by Dutch. Sumatra island wasn't get conquered for too long as well, Aceh Province for instant get helped from Ottoman Empire in Turkey and not getting occupied for so long. Basically, Aceh province was always at war with Dutch, never surrender, even though the city has been captured.

They tried to divide us in order to make us weak, thats why we now get united.

Nihonjin has fun here, he add oil on fire, haha. Japanese smile in front of you, shoot you in the back, it's never wrong.
All right, I am obvious opposing Muslim, especially Malay Muslim and Chinese Muslim, we mostly have more or less relation with them. I never hide my mind.
Are you retarded or something? I haven't read a single insulting word in his posts, I can see he is not calling you by your real name even, that is Retarded.

Well Singapore has been doing a good job, like you said providing social welfare to the less priviledged groups of people like immigrants from less developed countries, well done! However I still can't relate anything with Muslim or Islam? Not all underdeveloped countries are Muslim or Islamic are they? So I suggest let's leave religion out of the discussion.

I have to agree that lets do not generalize on basis of religion or race.

The stupidity continues ....

War there is not religious because we don't base our identity on religion as muslims do. Why do you have such a hard time accepting that? No one went to war in the name of buddhism. Even if there are monks that promoted war, they didn't use religious scriptures to justify it as muslims because there's none. There is a problem with race in Sri Lanka, no doubt about that. Indonesia on the other hand have entire provinces like Aceh that have retarded religious rules in the 21st century.

You are absolutely wrong on Buddhism, and the assumption that no body ever used it to instigate war. Militant Buddhism is alive and kicking, especially in Sri Lanka and Myanmar. Two of the best modern examples of buddhist extremist coupled with militancy. I am sorry but no religion can claim moral superiority over others by using that we are not violent. There are several books written on topics of Buddhism and violence.

If you are not talking about separatism but you do see a pure Islamic "problem", then it's definitely beyond my understanding. Like in all religions there are radicals and moderates, and those in between, am I right? My nature of work allows me to meet a lot of people, I haven't met a radical like you described though, say I do know Han Chinese who is Islamic, and Indonesian Muslim, and Arabic Muslim, never been threatened, we didn't even talk about religion. As an atheist myself, I did have the "luxury" to be pitched by some individuals religiously way more radical than anything a Muslim can be, say a Christian holding Bible to my face forcing me to believe the day is near (what day exactly?) and a Tibetan-Buddhist telling me I must burn 5 apples a day to have peaceful life and charged me 200 bucks just for saying that.

Islam = threat? Sounds like a Hollywood script to me. Better stay critical to the so-called "international" media, think independently, try to see through the smoke screen and find out the reality.

Hahahaha, and here I thought Jehovah's witness were the worst ones lol

Well said. Don't be fooled by the smile, just like a smile of dolphins

And dont be fooled by perception of this guy having a brain.

Only in Peninsular Malaysia, I'm very sure. I studied it in Form 6, College, talk to Lawyers, and Orang Asli. When Sabah and Sarawak join Malaya, they have to add that extra clause because most natives in Sabah and Sarawak wasn't muslim. The constitution don't recognize them but they have Aboriginal People's Act 1954. Few years back, they did protest on this issue.

I think yes in Peninsular Malaysia, they interpret this differently when compared to Sabah and Sarawak.

Yes, they are called as Bumiputras and that policy is often referred to as Bumi policy.
Malaysia does have a large Pakistani community, and over past decade lot of Pakistani professionals have came to Malaysia, along with businessmen as well. The clothing trade in Malaysia is dominated by pakhtoons from Bajur.

I challenge you to find one scripture in Buddhism that promotes violence or even remotely associated with violence. Until then, your argument won't make sense.

None of those Buddhists are fighting to establish some "Buddhist Caliphate", these are simply nationalist conflicts. Even Christian Sri Lankans don't have any positive attitude towards muslims.

Our Indonesian Chinese brothers and sisters in the 1960s were a big tragedy, we owed them a big one.

As for those Indonesian Chinese in 1990s, although they were extremely anti-CPC and helped the local government and the West to purge on the Indonesian Chinese communists back in the 1960s, but CPC still tried to rescue them prior to the massacre, but many of them didn't choose to trust CPC, that's why they eventually met their fate in 1998.

Hope more and more get settle in Japan, my buddy. "More and more" is a kind of action, "there are muslims" which is static. 10 thousand, 100 thousand, 1 million,...like this way. Actually it is beneficial to both parts.

I'm quite sure most religions are aware that most East Asians are religiously tolerant, but some people try to turn their religions into a political weapon, it will be extermination time once again.

If they don't, they will learn again. Nothing to worry about, we can be friends.
