For you, why didn't Muhajir ask for such identity elsewhere in Pakistan? Why only in Sindh? Muhajirs in Punjab and KPK just disappeared.

Muhajir did not ask for identity untill 70s. They always supported meanstream parties like fatimah jinnah and jamaat e islami.

The separate identity crisis started after quota system when Karachi educated people started loosing jobs against much less capable people of outside karachi.

We all knows that most of the rural population living in karachi have domicile of both karachi and rural areas enabling them to use both as per need and hence urdu speaking despite investing whole of youth failed to get any jobs.

Because they were far fewer in other provinces and over time they blended with the locals..Karachi on contrary , each ethnic group had its own ghetto ..they still do..the so-called muhajirs started a language riot in 1972 , many were killed..then there were attacks on pashtun just because they got hold of the transport business...again the same suspects..and they retaliated...see where i am going..this was all done for street power ,identity and politics by a few that ignited feelings prejudice on each side.MAjority urdu speaking people got lured into it when they werent even party to it.Then there were officers who refused to move to Islamabad and chose provincial positions over federal just because they thought capital would be shifted back to karachi some time in future...or because they were xenophobics..
All that didnt happen in other provinces..people moved around for a better living didnt really stick to one city..Even oday you dont see as much urdu speaking people in Army/Airforce as you do in Navy..No quota system in forcess!!!!!So there is a problem that needs to be acknowledged..

Forces? Hmm. 70 of Pakistans forces are from one province of Pakistan(Navy is almost all from Punjab). So transparency is very much clear here.
And no, riots were started by Gohar Ayub Khan, in 1965, when Karachiites and Dhaka opposed Ayub Khan in favor of Fatima Jinnah.

See the thing is, thugs started liberation war in Bangladesh. The people opposed them got raped and murdered. Today, those thugs are the reality.

Qouta should be district wise. If jobs are low and can't be divided in all districts then division wise. Murder of merit is BS. With qouta system government wants to give equal representation to all areas of Pakistan.

Its stupidity. Then why dont equal representation in PAF GD pilot program or in armed forces irrespective of capabilities.

Government is trying this since 73 and look what it has done to us. All our civil servant departments are ruined due to incompetent people.

CSS exams ko pass krna walay ziada tar Punjabi hotay Hain population percentage sa ziada. Agar qouta na ho to 80 ya 90 percent officers Punjabi hongay. Sindhi and Baloch pehlay hi kam Hain.

Secondly, when a Pakistani leaves Pakistan for a country where there is justice, he compares. And then many things are revealed on us. Sometimes things in Pakistan become totally transparent on us. We become capable of pin pointing things, which we usually dont notice. May be that's the reason.
