Featured Quetta: The death toll in the attack on FC post has risen to ten

.
No man. It was about the quality and training. Listen to Sir Qaiser Tuafil interview that why PN doesn't have an air wing. The air base and maintenance issues aside, who will train the pilot? PAF. Regular exercise, mission, sorties, etc all by PAF.

So that is why FC/Rangers cannot operate aircrafts as the required training is equivalent to a fighter pilot. Plus maintenance team training (time+money) must be at par with PAF airmen.
Can you please share link to the video?

So very tired of this question on FC needs air assets or not. The air assets were right in the vicinity, they were not used because PM and COAS were visiting, the base had VIPs inbound / on station and no flights were taking place. You can give thousands of assets to FC and these incidents will still happen, because of the sheer lack of initiative on our end. These men's lives were cheap. So, absolutely tired of all the lies and coverups. It's infuriating and an absolute insult to the men's sacrifice.

Sir I don`t understand why would an incoming VIP render a base paralyzed? CAS and SAR should continue.

To,
All those members who are quick to point fingers at army, why wasn't FC SOF sent to rescue FC troops ?

FC SOF.jpg

Is it responsibility of PA COAS or PAF CAS to send FC SOF troops to assist FC troops who were under attack or it responsibility of MOI and DIG/IG FC ?

Is FC SOF answerable to IG FC (and MOI) OR does FC SOF report directly to COAS or Corps Comd Qta ?

Didn't FC have enough transport vehicles to load these troops and send them ?

If FC SOF is not going to be thrown in action then why is MOI training them and acquiring budget on their behalf ?

Did DIG / IG FC request LOG Area Comd or Sta Comd Quetta to provide transports if FC SOF lacked transport ?

The SAGA of 9 x UH-1s

Although the United States urged Pakistan to ‘nationalise’ the helicopters after the agreement expired, the ministry of interior decided to return them, instead of buying them for continued use. The ministry, however, purchased the three Cessna airplanes that came with the choppers. ( Published in Dawn, October 31st, 2017 )

Why didn't MOI retain these 9 helicopters by buying them ?

MOI Air Wing (AW)

Presently, the Air Wing (AW) in MoI, with international support, is providing service to a number of CAFs and provinces for internal security purposes. Presently, the AW has three Cessna and fourteen helicopters. All these assets have night-flying and airborne operations capabilities. The Force will need eight additional helicopters, and at some point, additional and improved aircrafts that some of the friendly counties are willing to provide. MOI has three operational airfields in Islamabad, Lahore and Quetta. (NATIONAL INTERNAL SECURITY POLICY 2014 - 2018 Pakistan MOI)

Why didnt MOI assign any helicopters to FC Baluchistan in their time of need ?

I had these questions in mind if the troops under fire had made contact for backup and what actions did the concerned officials take if the information was relayed in time.

Send reinforcements through ground primarily or through air. These posts are replenished also so the supply line would have existed already.

If I was attacking an outpost I would be sure to set an ambush for reinforcements.
Similarly if I was responsible for providing support to said outposts this would be one of the major concerns. I would be very worried about an ied setup.
