12 killed in Quetta bomb attack

QUETTA: Twelve people were killed and 20 others sustained injures in a bomb attack in Quetta, Express News reported on Thursday.The remotely detonated bomb containing around 100 kilogramme of explosives targeted a truck carrying members of the Balochistan Constabulary near the Eastern Bypass.
“At least 12 people have been killed, 11 of them were security personnel,” senior police official Fayyaz Sumbal told AFP.
“The bomb was planted in a rickshaw.”The injured, five of whom are civilians, were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH). Few of them are in critical condition.
Police and bomb disposal squad (BDS) have reached the area and initial investigation is underway.The bomb blast took place in a fairly populated area and a car and rickshaw were also damaged apart from the BC truck.There was no immediate claim of responsibility. Bomb disposal officer Abdul Raazaq confirmed the incident and the size of the bomb.

Fact remains that since these two people are out,the frequency and scale of terrorist attacks in balochistan has increased.
