Quetta attack terrorists were speaking Farsi?

Lots of afghans and even pathans know and speak farsi.
Pashtuns of Southern Afghanistan (around Kandahar and helmand region), even though they can speak farsi, do not consider it proper to converse with each other in Farsi.....watch the documentaries or their television programs, .....whenever Pashtun from that region is asked a question in farsi, he gives replies in Pashto.

49% of Afghanis are Hazara and they speak Farsi
Same Hazara who were the Northern Alliance and pro india...andf currently almost the entire establishment in Afghanistan is based around Hazaras because Pashtun tend to be pro Taliban usually.

That's your fire door neighbor...you should know more ...
Your statistics are way off.

What does Uzbeks/Tajiks have against Pakistan?? Does not make any sense what these terrorists are after??

Uzbeg, Uighurs, Chinese, Chechans they have every variety- One of the reasons why China keeps close ties with Pakistan-

Also there is historic rivalries- Between Tajiks and Pashtuns or Uzbegs and Pashtuns- Mughals came from Uzbegs-

Nor historic rivalries not China is the reason.. Afghan cultural fabric is broken,People dont have work those dont want to do petty jobs and earn fast money grow and trade drugs regardless of any ethnicity. Others become guns for hire and become contract killers .many group up to raise militia. The drug dealers have a strong nexus with the terorriist/militias as one finances while other provides security. These groups take orders from outside world as well many knowingly and others unknowingly play in hands of different security agencies from around the world..Though Pakistan and AhmedShah Masoud(Tajik)developed distrust in early 90s but regardless of that these people would do anythign for money so who ever pays a bigger cheque wins their services. Apart from poverty another major problem in Afghan society is child abuse. The problem is at an alarming level and the militias keep hoards of young boys raised for years used in every worse way, that make broken minds brainwashed to become fidaeen.and then they are sent over across the border for their kamikaze missions.Pkaistan is ont he receiving and not Iran or CAR states because of the heavy indian influence and connection with the Afghan govt. and other agencies who do their work in layers.

They were probably speaking Dari... an inferiority complex version of Farsi.

I didn't meant Iran :stop: Attackers not only looked like Afghans but also spoke dari/farsi. I should have used dari to clear confusion for some, but Bol Tv said it was farsi which is similar to dari anyway.

Just heard on Bol tv that terrorists were speaking Farsi. So they were Uzbeks/Tajiks from Afghanistan?

That's neither here nor there. A lot of Pakistanis, Afghans, Iranians, Arabs, Kurds and some Turks can speak Farsi. Doesn't mean anything. In fact it could be a ploy to divert attention from the REAL perpetrators.

I think you are not getting to the root of It- The rivalries pre-dates Islam- There were 5 main tribes right from Hindukush to Central Asia(including Chinese Uighur province)- Pashtuns, Tajiks, Uzbegs, Hazara and Uighurs all can trace their ancestries to these tribes-

When ever there has been some unity among them- they have invaded Indian subcontinent successfully-

However most of the time they have been fighting thought- To the extent of displacing each other in power struggle- Historically most of these tribes have been nomadic so they don't have any profession- Hence fighting each other, looting etc comes normal to them- Only recently and due to harsh Communist rule some of these people have learned agriculture- It will take a long time and lots of investment in agriculture to civilize these people and Islamic revolutions/movements since the 70s have not helped the cause at all- A communist Afghanistan could have gone a long way in eradicating many problems- However vested interests of the US and shortsightedness of Pakistan saw to It that the pot kept boiling- A key player here the Saudis cannot be ignored- the hunger among Saudis to pop up radical Govts- in Islamic states have been a key factor too-

You cannot really blame India, Iran, or even Pakistan having influences over different tribes- anyone who have some cash and give them weapons these people would go mercenaries for them- It would be wrong to assume that Pakistan holds these guys due to Islam- the moment weapon supply and cash dries up they don't hesitate to bite the hand feeding them-

China is the key player here- like Russia- They are not the reason for rivalries but they certainly have stakes and those stakes is one of the reason they maintain close partnership with Pakistan-

. . . .
Probably. There are so many "unofficial" millions upon millions of Afghans living in Pakistan that are now completely blended in and assimilated that no one knows who is who.
darri sounds like farsi as well. the daesh has footprint all over Afghanistan not just the pashtons
and maybe they represent the Afghan chapter of Lashker Jhangvi
I mentioned two terror groups because both claimed responsibility and they swap their people and cooperate with each other
