Where does one find the best Pakistani food in the Washington, D.C. area?

. . . .
Not much Pakistanis live in D.C, it would be the last place to go for Pakistani food. Head towards NY its not that far.
Too far. I just want to see if the lassi-like concoctions I whip up at home are close to the real thing.

Haha! :D

You just gave someone out there a good business idea and that is "a call to settle in at that place because the food is as good as it is at home."
First the Lahorians and the Karachiites will pour in, then the islo guys will follow them on special events.

Already plenty of those in D.C. area, including the restaurant trade - but not in Pakistani-themed restaurants, I think.

Oh, just wait for some Indians to chime in and tell you how they do it so much better and how it's actually an 'Indian concoction' invented by Ancient Hindu's 20 million years ago while exploring nearby galaxies.

When I was in VA; I use to go to Ravi Kebab. The food is pretty decent. If you don't mind driving 17 Minutes (approx) or little more depending where exactly you are in DC...I would recommend it.
