I'm using SONY and it's amazing - Xperia S.
Which Samsung have you tried and which HTC do you want ?

except for Xepria,rest r so unattractive....

hw abt HTC radar? i want it in white color dis time....

hav used samsung windows omnia 7 but da prob is radar looks like omnia 7 so i may chooze another one in HTC

All are Xperias...

Depends on your usage, but I prefer Android's versatality and features. Radar's not bad, but there are better phones out there. Try the Samsung S3 Mini.

I don't know the exact price difference between them, but it's not much.

HTC Cameras aren't that good compared to its competitors but their designing is amazing btw.

Radar - Desire S - Desire V - One V are in similar price category

Sensation XE - Windows Phone 8S - Desire X - are slightly more but much better

Qmobile and Micromax are just buying fully assembled phones from Chinese suppliers. There might be no link between the two companies, but they have the same supplier who just prints the Qmobile/Micromax label onto the casing.

Personally, I would not buy any Chinese-made "smartphone" based on the MTK chipset. It is harder to root and the processing power is lower than comparable Qualcomm-based chipsets.
Plus the display resolution is significantly lower than advertised.

Save money, get a low-mid level android, unlock the bootloader/s-off and install CyanogenMod. The performance boost will be noticeable immeidately.

My dad's S3 got stuck with clockword mod and it's like a virus that is impossible to remove and i cant claim warranty if it's on the phone. Absolute worst piece of code ever typed

Flashing the stock firmware is the most common solution. Warranty remains fine even after flashing new software.

sony is old! nobody even buys LCD of SONY NW its old fashoined

irreplaceable battery, so hen time comes you cant resale or give it to little siblings as the battery life will become like 5 mins

It's like DOS mode for Android. CWM and TWRP are used to to perform advanced functions like installing new saoftware, flashing mods etc etc

I don't know the exact way, i was used to rooting(jb) the iPad so expected ndroid to be easier, not harder
ANyways, trying to install anything(software update) is prevented by CWM, it need some signed firmaware or something. And my dad desprately need 4.1 or 4.2 as the stock 4.01 he has now is too laggy

Battery is easily replaceable with a little tinkering.
Plus Radar is windows based, so theres no JellyBean for that.

two things to look out for: replaceable battery cover and software support(meaning they send latest updates regularly).
