JEDDAH: Two security men were killed on Sunday morning when they tried to foil an armed robbery on a money transfer car in Sihat, Qatif, the media spokesman of the Eastern Province police said.
The culprits snatched SR1 million from the car and fled, the spokesman said. He explained that when one of police patrols was undertaking its normal duty of following up a money transfer car in Sihat town, unidentified gunmen opened fire on the security men killing security patrol commander Sergeant Shuja Ali Al-Shummari and his companion Vice Sgt. Osman Shaim Al-Rashidi.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
It is to be recalled that the terrorist gangs in Qatif have in the past carried out theft and armed robbery operations to fund their terrorist operations targeting security men and citizens.
In an earlier statement, the Ministry of Interior said the number of armed robberies in the Kingdom reached 106 in 1435 H, or 0.36 crimes for each 100,000 of the population. The number of armed robberies in Qatif was the highest at 4.7 crimes for each 100,000 persons.

There was a documentary on BBC about protest in Saudi Arabia and while they did a good job of giving it a neutral color of "democratic struggle" there was at-least one frame of someone holding a motolov cocktail before it was quickly cut..I saw the video on youtube and if you paused at the right time and narrow the scene down to exact second..you could see the cocktail clearly!

They closed the bridge to fast track some special Saudi forces...the protest and the pearl roundabout..both became history :partay:

I wonder, why you feel the need to start a thread about Qatif, Saudi Arabia and it's high crime rate. I bet it has probably nothing to do with the fact that Qatif is mainly Shia.

I am willing to bet, you didn't read anything else and ran to open this thread as it point's fingers at Shia, but good news Mr, Bozo. It turns out ISIS terrorist are involved in these crimes, I bet you didn't see that coming.

Two killed in bank robbery attack in Saudi Arabia
A gunman stormed into one of the branches of Al Rajhi bank, reportedly to rob the bank, and opened fire on customers and employees

Armed attacks have been happening sporadically across the kingdom as the country grapples with domestic militancy, mainly inspired by hardline terrorist groups such as the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.

Security forces have been cracking down on supporters of ISIL and have foiled attacks that were to be carried out. In September, two ISIL militants were killed while three other were arrested in security raids in Riyadh and Dammam. Authorities said that the suspects were planning an "imminent terrorist attack" and one of the venues that were raided was a bomb-making factory.

Just turn the tv on and watch the news from Bahrain the Bahraini people keep their peaceful protest until those shaikhs leaves.

soon there will be no fat lazy shaikhs in the gulf ruling their countries they belong to the past for sure.

Shias and Sunnis should get together and discuss their problems. Not only that we should find a solution to the useless war between shia and sunni which takes no name of stopping. I am deeply saddened by the violence in Yemen and Syria and the fact that it can be resolved if shias and sunnis stop taking sides and allow the local people to find their own solution.

Afghanistan and Pakistan are victims of foreign machinations and influence jockeying and since we have suffered we know how it is to be just pawns in games funded by America or Saudia. Even Iran has madrassas in Gilgit Baltistan. Let the people of Yemen and Syria themselves decide their future.

For your enjoyment, a Bahraini "peaceful" protest, brought to you by Iranian regime:

P.S. notice the striking similarities between above videos and ISIS' videos :-)

Those Shiites militias that you call "protesters" are truly terrorists supported by a terrorist nation.

This is typical Shiite mannerism when they aggregate in numbers more than two. They immediately turn into these delightful group of people :D
