Pakistan doesn't operate Mirage-2000.they operate Mirage-III and Mirage-V..its India that operates Mirage-2000,and there were reports that India was interested to buy these jets.but the deal never happened.

i say PAF operating mirag jet. i don,t say they operat " Mirage-2000 ". i know PAF operate Mirage-III and Mirage-V, so is it very hard to operat " Mirage-2000 " for them.?
an ally point of view who is more closer to qatar " india or pakistan " ?

They will be best for India. They already operate them and its easy for them to absorb these jets. We will replace our aging fleet with home grown thunder, it doesn't make sense to introduce another platform which doesn't provide any new capabilities required, expensive to maintain and chances of sanctions.

Its India,who is closer to Qatar.we've defense co-op treaty with them as well as we've signed a treaty that enables us to send troops in case Qatar needs it.

Considering it cost up $50m a plane to upgrade, this one would probably come in at $100m all in after upgrade. So quite an expensive proposition.

They will probably replace them by buying 36 Rafales,the negociations are in final stage..

It better if Egypt and Qatar both make the deal. Egypt will be assembling it locally and supplying about 30+ dual seat ones to Qatar and Kuwait too.

I hope Egypt will assemble Rafael locally and may be able to export these with French deals to Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain too.

For UAE its better to make a complete deal fo 150-210 F-16s......

All these Mirage-2000s would then be available for PAF.

Because we need a lot of aircrafts to replace our older ones. And we have a lot of experience with the Mirages. If it comes at a decent price (which is doubtful), it makes eminence sense for India to buy them.

M-2000s are quality birds. Even if its possible to sell something like a BD govt. company and buy these jet from UAE-Qatar-Egypt it will impose a great threat to IAF and Burma both.
