Qatar, Pakistan sign Super Mashak sale agreement

. . . . . .
SMKs with full glass cockpit are making their first entry into ME. What I know is that those already flying with KSA are the old ones.

UAE would purchase LCA over JF-17 any day. Whomsoever expects UAE to be an actual friend of Pakistan is an ignorant and in denial.

Actually UAE has got bigger plans as they have all the money. Its neither LCA or Thunder they are going for as mainstream fighter. Though JF-17B can be pitched as LIFT.

ISLAMABAD: The State of Qatar has bought Super Mushshak trainers from Pakistan, said a statement released by the Pakistan Air Force on Thursday.

General Salem Hamid Al Nabet, Commander Air Academy Qatar, signed the agreement on bhalf of Qatar. Pakistan was represented by Air Vice Marshall Arshad Malik, Deputy Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex during the signing ceremony.

The number of trainers bought is not known.

The Super Mushshak is an advanced variant of the Mushshak basic trainer, and is produced at the PAC.

A PAF spokesman said in a statement the contract would not only open new avenues for export of aviation equipment to foreign countries but also help in generating revenue for the country.

The aircraft is already in service with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran and South Africa. Nigeria bought the aircraft in early 2016.

Basic flight training is provided on the aircraft for aspiring pilots.

Super Mushshak aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force was also put up for static as well as aerial display in the Dubai Air Show last year, with certain nations expressing interest in the aircraft.

The aircraft has a service ceiling of 22,000 feet, and a maximum speed of 268km/h. Range of the aircraft is reported at 814 kilometres.

InShaAllah JF-17B

If you have some calculations that Qatar will buy JF-17 after buying Rafaels then do share with me. Or else JF-17 will remain to be imaginary wish. Just as furor erupted over Saudi buying JF17 and whole thing fizzled out pretty quick

Sir dont U think we should not be even thinking of pitching Thunder for sale to ME countries till the time JF-17 Block III alongwith JF-17B is online and flying in Pakistan?

SMK is a Primary trainer that trains the rookie pilots. In short it teaches the ABC of flying to TO BE pilots. So its got nothing to do if Qatar is flying Rafale or anything even some more advanced aircraft as lead fighter.

UAE = The UAE government is continuing to negotiate a direct commercial sale with Lockheed, but the number of fighters in discussion has increased from 25 to 30, according to a Defense Security Cooperation Agency notice to Congress posted on 24 January 2014

Oman = Eurofighter

Kuwait = Eurofighter

Qatar = Rafael

Egypt = Rafael

Saudi = Eurofighter
