Really want it to be the Advanced Hawk.
I suppose there's no data other than "BAE had already started working on them"?

It is a new variant, with their own customization for the Eurofighter and F-15Q training requirements. So most likely it is not the Advanced Hawk by BAE/HAL. Then again, you never know what else they buy....

They can rent pilots supposedly.. but I think they will have time to train their own.. the deliveries won't come that soon..

They'll manage to get their own people eventually. The UAE F-16 program started out like that, and within 6 years they had enough pilots for their jets. Foreign instruction reduced significantly as they got a lot of their own pilots qualifying as IPs.
