أعلن وزير الدفاع الإيراني العميد حسين دهقان، أنه تم الانتهاء من مشروع تصنيع مقاتلة "قاهر" الجديدة، مضيفاً أن اختبارات التحليق عليها ستجري خلال العام الإيراني المقبل الذي سيبدأ في 21 مارس (آذار).

ونقلت وكالة "فارس" الإيرانية اليوم الأحد عنه القول: "إنه سيتم تسيير المقاتلة على مدرج المطار قبل نهاية العام (الإيراني)، وستنفذ اختبارات التحليق العام المقبل".

ونفى إيقاف العمل بمشروع إنتاج مقاتلة من نوع "الصاعقة"، لافتاً إلى أن اختبارات التحليق عليها ستجري قريباً أيضاً.

وشدد على أهمية إجراء المناورات، واعتبرها ضرورية "لتقييم قدرات القوات المسلحة وكفاءة الأسلحة وقت السلم".

وأوضح أن المناورات تنفذ في دورات سنوية يتم تحديدها مسبقاً بمصادقة كبار القادة عليها.

وكانت إيران اختبرت أخيراً منظومة "باور 373" الصاروخية للدفاع الجوي وصاروخ كروز بحري من طراز "نصير" مصنع محلياً.
