Q&A: Why Philippines challenged China’s sea claim

ok. let us say what usa is doing is wrong.so doea that mean you will do the same just to show that you are a superpower?
sorry man, might is right, that's why every country tries to develop better than others.

you sure.. your comrade want to wait for 10 more years!!
10 years can go really fast, remember 10 years ago China was so poor, the GDP size was even smaller than that of Italy,we could barely hold on to top ten group and where China is now, everyone is talking about China's overtaking US around the world.see how big a change merely one decade can make.

.
well done Philippines.
and after looking at the map, it becomes clear that the Chinese are demanding a bit too much.
That’s right. I believe that the Philippines has a very reasonable stance in this case. Those islands are much closer to us. UNCLOS gave a coastal nation or an inhabited island an Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of 200 miles from the baseline in which the coastal nation or the inhabited island has the exclusive right to exploit natural resources. China’s nine-dash claim extends beyond her EEZ, biting into the EEZs of her neighbors.
Heh dude, that's call using power within: we use the power to block Philippinnes from using UNCLOS and we use the power to get UNCLOS on our side against Japan...sound fair to you? :pop: go cry river.

As for tail between legs, we chinese has not yet hide under anybody's shadow as your country and Japan do...your description of us is totally wrong.
China's logic is typical of a bully.

I totally support u.

. . .
Coz the US requests the Philippinos to do it by promising full military support to Phillippines. The latter is forced to obey even if such challenge will be counter productive and against the economic interest of the Phillippines, themsleves. Same applies to the Japanese Imperial War Criminals.

That's stupid? one if the US did that why are they giving us junk and why are we buying from Europe (mostly Italy and Germany) and Korea to Update our military then? While they giving you people better weapons? You people are Anti US in the first place even though US have been helping you guys a lot You guys talk a lot about things you know little about.
But then again this is just typical Chinese imperialist and client state back talk with no real counter arguments to present trying to copy the old empires of the 19th century which they miss and trying to get back and speaking of world war 2 have people learn anything if you haven't notice from your racist ignorance and hawks attitudes you sound like the Japanese from that period ever wounder why we made that comparison?

And about our economy well we are getting better thanks to china actions and attitudes a lot of business are moving and guess what folks of the places are little Philippines and also our GDP got more points than ever a lot going on here not just economic points but also infrastructures yup all thanks to our so called stupid President we are one of the best preforming economies and an economic rising star here ASEAN so yup thanks for the concerns but i can tell you we are doing better than Pakistan Yup in your face! and for the chinese thanks for voting us for best tourist destination see that band and so called economic boycott work in our favor again in your faces. :woot:

. . . .
How about cheerleading India, we have not finish with you, your turn will be soon....LMAO
You know, india will cheer for anyone against china, they are really a cheerleader, but just confine to this, their real fighting capacity is near Zero, like 1962......

You want to be bullied, we just cater to you, you should ask your that impotent President first, lose country.
And, If you want more, we will do more, you can jump up and down like clown continuously.

.
Not really, China offer Philipinne to sit and negociate but you ran into U.S and U.N crying for help; you just use what ever options available to you, we do the same.
After exhausting all administrative remedies, the next thing to do is go to an arbitral court which is UNCLOS. If your case is sound solid then there's no reason for you to be afraid and stay away from the arbitration. :azn:

You live in a propaganda world and do not see the whole hypocritical truth in front of your eyes.

The Philippines requested that the case be settled at UNCLOS but sadly China refuses to consider this option. When someone refuses to go to court, it is because they are either guilty, or their case is weak/fictions.

for you it's exhausting but China still leave the door open for negociation but you just want to take advantage of those who are against China to draw maximun gain, we certainly don't want to fall into that trap...so you portray yourself as victime but in fact you're so sneaky in this issue: crying to earn sympathy tactic is will never work with China.

Wow that's was one hell of a turn around.

First we are not trying to get anything from stupid old china Imperialist we are seating on real and logical while yours are illogical so we don't need your damn sympathy you can have it plus all of your money here compare that to billions we will make from all of our dealings now its cheap change as cheap as your products so you can take it to hell with you when you lose in the oral arguments because again historical claims is nothing against the archipelago doctrine and many provisions of UNCLOS so by that alone say it all again this a sea dispute and Archipelago countries are always taken in top consideration over landlocked countries i could tell you about but program brain can't handle the true but still lets wait.

It’s no glory for China to bully a weak and peace-loving nation like the Philippines. I know you’ll just embarrass yourself trying to defend your ludicrous claim because even a five year old child can easily see your claim as ridiculous.

Bilateral talks failed many times so it left our country no choice but to raise the issue to a more proper and fair forum. It’s been ages since this dispute started. It’s about time to finish it once and for all by way of the terms and conditions set by the UN Tribunal and not by China, I mean we are not dumb. You may or may not heed its final decision, but it will certainly lose your credibility among the World Community where your economic lifeblood strength lies and the exposure of your cynical moves against our peaceful country. :bunny:
