The Pakistani electorate is not sophisticated enough to see through the criminals that pose as our politicians and leaders. They generally hold emotional and tribal loyalties to people regardless of their behaviour and character.
IK has broken this trend and is a breath of fresh air. He isn't perfect but what he is is sincere and honest, he is the right man at the right time for Pakistan. You can argue all day long how he got there but he has started a ball rolling where the excesses of previous governments and politicians are being brought to book for the first time in this country and hopefully it will become a trend. What this country needs more than anything is accountability, justice and the rule of law.

GoP should first pass audits by NAB because GoP does not qualify for

1) Transparency
2) Confidentiality
3) Impartiality
