Putin/Russia provoked what has turned into shooting war in Ukraine

Mr. Putin "to save and protect" Russian speakers in Eastern Ukraine started this whole mess!

The world still operates under international law and releated traties and national constitutions through the UN.

Ukraine's Constitution was violated and is being repeatedly violated by Putin, using the same lies that Hitler used to take over the Sudaten Land in Czechoslovakia, the Poland, along with Austria.

Tragically history has a way of repeating itself.

The US and NATO can yet use cruise missiles and related air power tools to hit any Russian troops entering or already inside Ukraine. I am of the opinion that this time is upon us.

Ukraine has the same NATO status as both Russia and Pakistan, as Official Nation Observers of and with NATO.

However, due to it's recent military actions aqainst the soverign nation of Ukraine Russia has been suspended indefinite from further status and joint military exercises which formerly were done by Russia with NATO forces.

It now looks like Mr. Putin and the Russian military used their Observer status within NATO to plan these attacks on Ukraine "hoping" that NATO would not "respond."

NATO responded in Afghanistan and will respond shortly in Ukraine.

Russia is being a lawless and ruthless as the Taliban and al Qaida terrorist thugs are being ruthless murderers and religious heretics inside Pakistan's various provinces.

No they aren't, you're speaking of some armed civilians maybe. All I recall is one fatality in the past week and that was an Ukrainian soldier. Why would you think it would get any different from here? It's largely just flexing muscles right now and empty threats. What both want is just being able to accept the current situation as reality. The West won't really get involved unless Russia further sends troops into Ukraine, which they won't do.

The US supports a free and independent nation of Palestine ever since 1947, a matter of UN record.

For some years now the nation of Israel collects taxes for and transmits such collected taxes to the Palestinian Government for their use in running their government.

What is missing or lacking is for some nations to recognize Israel, which exists as a free nation under UN creation since 1947.

But my topic here is Ukraine, a different scenario. Let's focus on Ukraine and you can create your own thread to discuss the dual nation status of both Israel and Palestine.

They will. I remember before this whole Ukrainian crisis started I posted an article about Russian troops heading to the crimea. All the russians and pro russians said that it was fake news. Guess what several days later it turned out to be real. Then I said that russia would annex crimea and they said that will not happen. Next thing you know crimea is part of Russia. Next step they will take over parts of eastern ukraine then move on to parts of moldova eventually.

I did and within a matter of a few days the Russian Spetznatz troops "appeared" inside Eastern Ukraine.

I will make a blind guess, my view only, and say there are probably two Regiments of Spetznatz troops operating now inside Eastern Ukraine, seizing city halls, etc. Most likely the same two regiments Mr. Putin said were returned to their home bases deep inside Russia.

About a month ago some Ukrainian officials were talking about acquiring nuclear weapons to wipe out Russian Ukrainians. RT was reporting heavily on this to build up support and justify a pretext for a Russian Invasion of eastern ukraine. Russia has atleast 40,000 troops on its border with Ukraine so they can easily accomplish this objective. Another reason why Russia would invade eastern Ukraine is because Russia still depends on the Ukrainian defense industry so they need to secure the necessary defense industry facilities.
