'Putin Has Lost His War In Ukraine' Says Amb. Michael McFaul

.
Russian army can defend their own land but they're not meant to invade other countries that's why they're losing the war.

. .
Russian has a ragtag military with equipment, tactics and training all stuck in WW II era.
Brother, Russian Military is still a juggernaut. They haven't still unleashed their full capabilities in Ukraine.

But you have to keep in mind that Russia is fighting the not just Ukraine but all of NATO. NATO continues to provide ISR capabalities and billions in equipment to Ukraine, but still Russians are advancing but in a slow pace. And Eastern and Southern Ukraine will fall. Russian advance is albiet slow but forward.

In Russian involvement in Syria, they were ruthless, surrounding and bombing. But such ruthlessness isn't seen in Ukraine. Maybe due to their notion of being same people and nation or God knows what. They should have destroyed entire UAF infrastructure in the first days with missile volleys and they have the capability to do so, but they didn't due to I guess fear of too much collateral damage.

But their tactics were not stellar too in Ukraine. They opened up too many fronts in the starting days of the war.

Yes. Their is change being seen in Russian advance now. They have now put their concentration in Donbass and Southern Ukraine forward Kherson axis. Daily Successes are being seen nowadays on these fronts.

The Russians still have NOT deployed their state of the art top notch Armata main battle tanks.

It is very clear why Russia is dictating what west sees.

. .
Russians historically are good in regrouping? They will come back with a vengeance or might have done that.

Russia has not mass produced T-14 Armatas.

Majority of Russian tanks are T-72s not even T-90s.

Russia military has antiquated equipment.

The world's second most powerful military is "ragtag" and has equipment, tactics and training from WW2 era. Very impressive I must say. But seriously Pakistan must have equipment, tactics and training from the 17th century considering Russia's military is more powerful in every sense.

Millions of Russians have family in Ukraine. They are the same people. Same race, blood and religion.
