Here are some equally intriguing questions to Congress haters:

1. 1. Who came to power after the purulia Arms drop case?
      
   2. Was not Mr. Indrajit Gupta the Home minister in National Front Govt belong to CMI(M)? What did he do to investigate this matter?
      
   3. Who removed Joginder Singh as the CBI director who was then in charge of the investigation? He was perusing the political angle of the incident.
      
   4. What Mr. Bleech said on yesterday, he was saying the same thing when he was in the jail of WB. So what has changed now that made COngress the culprit and CPI and BJP the good guys?
      
   5. In what circumstances the BJP gave in to UK govt. knowing fully well the statements made by Mr. Bleech in jail?
   
   Can anybody answer these questions.

   When fingers are pointing towards GOI or congress definately not meaning whole establishment or whole congress party. Rather we (atleast I) are concerned about some rotten apples. CPI(M) blamed it on foreign powers that time. Involvement of government was unthinkable till yesterday. Why BJP gvt or third front did not do anything that need to be examined. But that does not absolve Congress gvt of 1995. Because without nods from very powerful persons -
   
   A cargo plane cant enter Indian air-space from an enemy state without being shot down by IAF
   Air-defence radar can not be switched off
   Main accused can escape from an airport when his plane has been intercepted
   A snail-mail (registered post) can not be sent to WB gvt instead speedy communication (with effort to dealy the critical information)

I am not absolving Congress. I am trying to make the course of this important discussion little balanced.

Don't you think the questions I raised are relevant?

Why members are so gong ho about the complicity of Congress?

Even the 1996 election was fought on the backdrop of so many corruption charges. The Congress at that time was so weak.

What has allowed the subsequent ruling coalitions to see Congress to tide over the situation?

The questions posed by you are not new and they have been adequately answered in court by competent authority.

They have reached to the conclusion of intelligence failure. All this happened when Peter Bleech was in Kolkata Jail.

Can you imagine a situation where the man staying in Kolkata jail on the record saying the same story is not allowed by left govt to spill the beans against its biggest adversary the Congress.

Look the matter happened in 1995 Nov and the election in around Mar 1996. The Congress then was battling with defection and corruption charges. India was going through a turmoil. probably this provided the Anand margis to further their plan.

Whatever Davy or Bleach are saying can not be taken as devine truth...thats why there is need for re-opening of case. BTW finding of earlier investigations have not been made public. You can not get them even according to RTI act.

Congress has to be in the receiving end because they are first in the que. Third front and BJP come later...but they need to clarify their stance too....

But the incident could have not taken place or the guy Davy could not slip out of India if not aided by influencial people. So first suspect is government at time. Next comes third front and BJP for not finding and publishing the truth.
