15 Chinooks are infinitely more useful than 2-3 aged Mi-26s sir. The Mi-26s will likely be decommissioned within months of the final 4-5 Chinooks being deleivered or maybe as soon as the first 2-3 CH-47F have arrived in India.

The Mi-26s of the IAF have abysmal availability these days. Their day has long since passed. They are tired work horses that should be allowed to go out with some dignity.
