I doubt the PTI leadership will sideline IK.

They’ll become Raja Riaz overnight. Even the likes of Asad Umar who has no ambition to become a PM, will not take it as his reputation will be gone to the cleaners.

The Generals will keep pushing Pakistan to the brink with their 90s era strategies. They can cut out PTI on TV, but they’ve got no control over social media.
