The Punjab CTD and Police carried out a Special Ambush operation in the Mianwali’s Makarwal area to arrest the terrorists who were coming back from malla khel area, during which the latter opened fire on the agency’s team and Police.During an intense exchange of fire, 10 terrorists were liquidated while 02 were captured alive. Initial reports indicate that the liquidated terrorists belong to the Tehrik-e-taliban Pakistan's Ustrana Group.This Special Ambush operation was led by DPO Akhter Farooq of Makarwal, Mianwali and no harm to any Police or CTD officials was reported.
