punjab discrimintion against pashtun reality

During last couple of days i have been reading statements regarding racial discrimination of pashtuns in punjab with few examples like registration, security checks etc. Also i read statements regarding this issue by punjab government and police. As a pushtun living in punjab when i heard about these allegations i just understood one thing that i have never faaced such issue. I tried to write my personal experience and assesment regarding the issue Maybe someone else exprience is different.

India started a one man army pashtun liberation army to claim responsibilities of terrorists attacks in future and now a propaganda war had been started. Punjab police have already denied and the culprits ae investigated.
Fake news using social media and so called pashtun parties(every one know about their loyalties) have been started. PTI leaders have also began to involve in this propaganda(may be unintentionally). Imran khan,who was a one man army like tahir ul qadri .Who was just a person who would be cherished on his great speeches and as a national hero has been made stronger by pashtuns, never gave any real power to any pashtun in his party. Mostly people from punjab like jahangir tareen and shah mehmood are the centre of power in his party, instead of giving rights to the real representatives of the party is now using the same community for politics, while damaging national unity in the process.
Punjab chief minister denied it and called pashtun brothers.
Now the question is that pashtun have always been poor and once TTP did more terrorists activities using pashtun recruits. Anyone like pashtuns(due to fear of being a terrorist) were looked into with suspecion,but never was any voice raised then. why now??

Pakistan is due to pashtuns. You won't find much punjabis,balochis, sindhis anywhere outside their(they belong to every Pakistani) provinces but pushtuns are the chain of unity pf this nation, present everywhere showing that we are one, a symbol of national unity and islamic ideology. But now enemy had started to target our unity. The strength of our nation by trying to create a rift between two strongest ethnic groups of the country.
When it comes to targetting of Pashtuns, one would be surprised to know that 9 million pastuns are living in punjab, 10 million in sindh,5.5 million in balochistan and 450k in Islamabad, which is more than total number of pashtuns living in KPK. Had they been targetted they would have been back at home as pathans never disconnects from his ancestor home and land, no matter where he is living, but no such movement have been reported nor any mass arrests.

Now the problem is propaganda regarding racial profiling of pashtuns. Even now when i am writing this many politicians are talking about it and condemning it. But i myself being a Pathan living in Punjab and frequently visiting KPK never faced any such issue. Never have i noticed any such discrimination when i enter Punjab(My address in CNIC is of KPK). When i cross khushal garh or attock bridge i just have to go through small security check which is nothing new. And no one Punjabi or pathan have ever been discrimated in the process.
Now the next issue which arose was regarding registration in police stations. I want to inform those who don't know that everyone living in rent house in punjab have been ordered to get registered due to security situation. Previously the system was documented on papers but now the system in police station have been made computerized. Even my neighbors who are from punjab have to do it.

All those who are standing for pashtuns of afghanistan have no write to make it an internal issue of Pakistan. The whole world media is reporting it as crack down against afghans. Even many Pakistanis doing propaganda are using "pashtun/afghan" words to create impression as pashtuns of pakistan are being targetted.

it's what i know. connect the dots. Afghanistan government officials and karzai talked about rigts of pashtuns and durand line issue. PLA created followed by this propaganda by politicians who frequently visits afghanistan. Time to know the reality instead of falling for the lies.

Wrora the problem is in our political system. These parties like MQM and ANP will never try to promote unity between the various ethnic groups. They will always take a belligerent, aggressive line and champion themselves as the defenders of their ethnic groups from oppression and maltreatment. Gullible people will keep falling in their trap.

The fact is once these parties start promoting unity their usefulness will end. Muhajirs will begin questioning MQM and its policies, they will ask why we will need such a party when we have urdu as the national tongue, special power in Sindh with control of the cities and a poverty rate for muhajirs much less.

ANP can be blamed similarly. Its leaders have made their own share of anti Pakistan statements as Altaf Hussain. I am something of a muhajir pathan mix though pathan ancestry is not clear for us or our family and the link is tenuous even if it exists but I have seen my fair share of hatred from each group. Most of the haters, sadly come from among the ANP and MQM supporters. This is a reality we can't ignore. These parties are making us fight and causing tensions so that people do not end their ethnic chauvinism. I am very saddened that even Imran Khan fell into this trap. Once these parties start promoting unity they will lose their votebank of ethnic chauvinists. It is a reality. That is why we have to take care in voting but we don't have much choice of good party's in the current situation anyway. What is left is the ethnocentric scum we have today.

In the end Pakistan has to come first. We can say we support Pakistan first, our relatives do the same thing in Karachi. But in heart they are muhajir first-of course as long as they keep voting MQM and hating the other ethnic groups and not confirming to the ethnic diversity of the country.

Blame those Pakistani pashtun who keep saying that Pashtun and Afghan are synonymous terms and their ethnic identity is Afghan. Its time to make distinguish between ethnic and national identity . Afghan suppose to be national identity of those who live in afghansitan which comprise different ethnic groups including pahstoon so pashtoon is ethnic identity while afghan or pakistani is national identity of pahstoon living in these countries. Saying Punjab =Pakistani would not make sense as Punjabi is ethnic group living in boht India and Pakistan and same is the case with saying Pashtoon = afghan

Pashtoons are facing all this ( if they are ) because of their love for Afghans .. In Karachi every Pashtoon dominating Areas is filled with Illegal Afghans, they shelter them , they give them money to start business , they even fight for them ... so if now Pashtoons are facing some hard time because of Afghans its what they bring upon themselves .. even now their Love for Afghans is not going, which put a " ? " on the Loyalty of Pashtoons for Pakistan, cause Afghans are Killing Pakistan and if Pakistani Pashtoons are still supporting , sheltering or turbocharging Afghans than there is a very good reason to see them as Suspects .. this is exactly what happen in Karachi with Urdu Speaking People when MQM and Altaf Hussain Lose his mind ..
